History

During a historic meeting on May 7, 2003 in Amsterdam a new football club Amsterdam United FC was founded. It was decided that the club would be playing in a red and black vertically striped shirt, black shorts and white socks. Today, the club is still playing in these original club colours. The club started in division VII.476 and played it's first match on May 11, 2003. In the first season a praiseworthy 3^rd place was reached. In the next season the club won its first ever championship and was promoted to division VI. At the moment Amsterdam United FC is playing in division V.176. Until now the club has won 5 championships in total.
