Ankara is the capital of Turkey, and capital of Ankara province. Centrally located in Anatolia, Ankara is an important commercial and industrial city. The city planning is highly above Turkey standards. Ankara is the center of both Turkish State, Turkish Government and the Military headquarters. Therefore the ministries, embassies, most of universities, art halls and military forces are in Ankara. It is an important crossroads of trade, strategically located at the center of Turkey's highway and rail network, and serves as the marketing center for the surrounding agricultural area.

In Hattrick, Ankara teams recently improved their positions significantly as now there are already four teams at top Turkish serie from this region. Rushin' Eagles, Sakalkan Cats, Ophiuchus and Firtina Genclik are Süper Lig teams from Ankara.
