History
Formation
Founded in the Spring of 2003 as New Orleans Apaches, the club known today as Coral Cove FC has gone through numerous changes in ownerships as well as name changes. Previous owners of the club had seen some success with team and even earned promotion to the fifth division for 2 seasons before the team fell back into it's current series, VI.101.
In the Summer of 2005, and midway through season 25, the current owners took full control of the club (the called Archipellagios), and improved on the previous owners final table position to fifth place from sixth. At the end of the 25th season, the team was renamed to Corl Cove Football Club and all players were released from their contracts and, in response to demand for a local team, residents of Eugene Oregon were pleased that their city was chosen as the new home of Corl Cove FC.
Hud Roberts was appointed player/manager on 11 May, and the club held trials for players on 13 May. Over 400 players applied to participate in those trials. of whom just 16 were chosen to play for Corl Cove FC, although most have since left the club.
Club Colors
In its infancy, Coral Cove’s home kit was a dark blue and black pin stripped jersey with blue shorts and socks with black trim. In conjunction with the club’s name and crest change in season 29, the team’s colors and kits were also changed.
Currently, the Cove play their home matches in an all blue kit with white trim. Away matches are played in an all white kit with blue trim. The Cove’s third kit is traditionally all red in homage to the death of club legend Alejandro Careago. The club has also worn an all yellow third kit during cup matches. The all yellow kit is, superstitiously, believed to bring the club luck, however the kit is rarely chosen for matches.

Stadium
When the club was founded, it played its home matches at The Cove, a 12,000 all-seater stadium. The stadium has since gone under numerous expansions and currently can seat 30,000 fans and is now called Skinner’s Park, in respect to Eugene Skinner, the founder of Eugene Oregon. In total, more than 60 league matches have been played at Skinner’s Park, and more than 115 league/friendly matches. In recent years, attendances at the ground have nearly met capacity and occasional the ground has sold out all 30,000 seats. For league matches, the club has an average attendance of just over 15,000 and just 1,700 for friendly matches. Unconfirmed reports have said that it can be expected that Skinner’s Park will begin construction on the East and West stands, expanding the stadium capacity by 12,000 seats to bring total capacity 42,000. [edit]
RivalriesIt is no secret which club is Coral Cove's number one rival. Traditionally, Moon Magic FC and Coral Cove FC have been the forerunners in VI.101 and have left the rest of the league in shambles as they battle each other for the championship season after season. The rivalry between the two teams has no beginning, but rather can be simply described as a natural dislike for the other club. Some fans have argued that the rivalry began after Moon Magic responded violently to back to back loses by injuring Coral Cove players Chester Logan, Maxime Gueneau, Allan Tamm, and Stanley Correa in a two – nil victory at Magic Park. The two sides have played one another eleven times with the Cove winning six of those matches while Moon Magic has won just four of the meetings. Fans are well aware of the excitement surrounding the match up the clubs offer, and it’s evident by the 17,000 spectator average. In the past four meetings between the clubs, Magic Park has sold out its 21,000 seat stadium twice and Skinner’s Park has sold out 30,000 seats twice. Coral Cove has yet to lose at home to Moon Magic FC, whereas Coral Cove FC has claimed victory twice away at Magic Park. [edit]
