Galway is a region in Ireland and the heartland of Hattrick Ireland. Hattrick in Ireland originated in Galway and in the early days it is where nearly all the users were based. Since the expansion of Hattrick throughout Ireland, it has lost a bit in terms of strength in depth in terms of management and truely brilliant teams. The majority of the premiership teams, for a long time, were based in Galway.
