Hattrick:Intensive Policy Debate 1

Intensive Policy Debate 1 is a policy-making session to establish the fundamental Hattrick Wiki policies. IPD 1 will occur from April 3rd, 2006 to May 31st, 2006. During this period editors interested in assisting are asked to help the Wiki by debating policies and writing policies that they feel are necessary. Ongoing policy debates during IPD1 include:
- Hattrick:Consensus - a policy for establishing consensus on issues of importance.
- Hattrick:Naming conventions - a policy for naming articles in the wiki.
- Hattrick:Notability - a policy to determine which articles should be included in the wiki and which should not
During IPD1, debate will occur during the first seven weeks (or less, depending on when the policy is presented), followed by a vote on all proposed policies to be held from May 21st to May 31st. The goal of IPD1 is to speed the process of policy-making throughout the Hattrick Wiki and increase exposure for policy debates occuring during IPD1. IPD1 is an open process, and all policies of significance may be included in the list of topics to be discussed. If you wish to include a policy you have written in IPD1:
- Check that the policy does not already exist in a similar form.
- Check that you have named the policy under the correct Hattrick:(Policy_Name) format.
- Create an area for policy debate on the policy's talk page.
- Add the policy to the above list along with a brief description of the purpose of the policy.
Additional IPDs may be held in the future if necessary.
