Sharon

Sharon (Shah-Rohn Hebrew שרון) is a region of the central coast of Israel. Its capital is the city of Netanya (pop. around 190,000).

Sharon is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea on the west, Mount Carmel on the north, Samaria on the east and the Tel Aviv metropolitan area on the south (The southern geographical border is considered Ha-Yarkon river).
