Mathematics saw most attack opportunites on the wings. For their match strategy, hkbnhkbn had decided to use their ability to
counter-attack whenever possible. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 3rd minute goal by Li Guan Hee
for Mathematics, putting them ahead 1 - 0. A great pass from the defensive line of hkbnhkbn resulted in a counterattack that was
smoothly dealt with by Deng Diyang in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. Mathematics were
given a penalty in the 14th minute - neatly put away by Yu Kwong. 2 - 0 for the home side. Mathematics added another goal to
their lead as Omiros Pagkalos struck home the 3 - 0 goal after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the
keeper. Mathematics seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organization. The teams
went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. Mathematics, bringing their ball possession to 51 percent, dominated the battle.
The Mathematics players spent the halftime break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organization and regained a solid
organization. In the 54th minute, Abel Cavalcanti had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot hit the side of the goal. In
the game's 57th minute, hkbnhkbn's Baltramėjus Širvys fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee
booked Baltramėjus Širvys for diving. Mathematics's Vittorio Nota scored the 4 - 0 goal by shooting accurately and hard from a
long distance, leaving the opponent keeper no other option than to pick up the ball from the net. There was a bit of a mixup on
the field as Mathematics found themselves out of position and their organization level dropped to inadequate. The visitors
replied in the game's 81st minute, scoring the 4 - 1 goal, as Pan Fuxuan dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the
home team's keeper. After an industrious effort down the middle, Yu Kwong could have closed the game off in the 82nd minute, but
his finishing shot hit the post. A counterattack by hkbnhkbn in the 84th minute could have resulted in a goal, but Li Kunlu,
coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. A bit later, hkbnhkbn's Li Kunlu easily reduced to 4 - 2 after a
misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. This half belonged to Mathematics, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the
time.
Mathematics's best player was Zhang Juh shiun. Yu Kwong turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important hkbnhkbn player
was Gu Chuanfeng. On the other hand, Zhang Dalun's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 2.
