Clouds darkened the skies at [DDT] 新數皇大球場 as 12000 spectators turned up for the match. The derby had been the talk of Yau Tsim Mong all week and fans of both teams could be seen throughout the stadium. Mathematics had chosen a strategic 5-3-2 formation. Mathematics clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. A mistake by the home side's central defence in the 18th minute allowed Sten Kattel to score the 0 - 1 goal for Litter.Rain. The home crowd cheered when, in the 19th minute, Sten Kattel's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 31 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Toni Sonino who increased Litter.Rain's lead to 0 - 2. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Litter.Rain goal in the 35th minute, making it 0 - 3. Olaf Jarosz was noted down as the scorer. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Mathematics's Oscar Washington Alessandría got himself booked. Litter.Rain's Mihaitã Radu received a play slashing through the home side's central defense in the 37th minute, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 0 - 4 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. Confident in their lead, Litter.Rain decided to play a more defensive game at this point. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Litter.Rain, with an impressive 91 percent possession of the ball.

Mihaitã Radu increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 5. In the game's 64th minute, Litter.Rain's Mihaitã Radu fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Mihaitã Radu for diving. In the 65th minute, Litter.Rain's Preben Trust burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6. In the 79th minute, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Olaf Jarosz to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 7. Litter.Rain held the ball, with a clear 93 percent of possession.

Mathematics's best player was Zhang Juh shiun. However, Oscar Washington Alessandría made a disastrous appearance. Litter.Rain's top performer was clearly Przemysław Walecki. However, Bob Wiltschut made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 7.
