Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Syberian one Arena saw a crowd turnout of 3633. Syberian decided to use a 4-3-3 set up. They fielded: Saavedra - Ferda, Scurati, Guasti, Priebe - Peñalosa, Czauderna, Augustyns - Sardini, Villás, Arciotti.

Mathematics started off with a 5-3-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Tabberer - Yue Shun, Xiaoping, Chong Wai, Kościółek, Thien Hu - Chi hong, Guan Hee, Juh shiun - Kwong, Li Seng.

Syberian showed off their creative tactics. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Mathematics. The 14th minute saw a great chance for Syberian to take the lead after a good centering pass from the right found Giovanni Guasti alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Syberian made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left Børge Bo Priebe completely alone with keeper Burt Tabberer, who made a spectacular block. Song Thien Hu stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Mathematics the goal to make it 0 - 1. Mathematics bypassed the midfield with their counterattack, leading to a free kick goal by Yang Chi hong for 0 - 2. Confident in their lead, Mathematics decided to play a more defensive game at this point. Syberian's Giovanni Guasti managed a superb strike in the 25th minute that would have left goalkeeper Burt Tabberer without a chance, had it not hit the post. Adrián Saavedra was able to knock home a free kick in the 26th minute to make the score 1 - 2. Mathematics appeared unsure on how to play and their organization was only inadequate. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Syberian, bringing their ball possession to 76 percent, dominated the battle.

A review of the gameplan helped Mathematics get back to a solid organization. In the 49th minute, following yet another great corner, Nurullah Ferda knocked the ball to the limit of Addy Augustyns's reach, who just couldn't put it in the net. With a shot floated in from just outside the penalty area in the 51st minute, Carmine Sardini of Syberian evened the score to 2 - 2. There was a bit of a mixup on the field as Mathematics found themselves out of position and their organization level dropped to passable. The 59th minute saw a great chance for Syberian to take the lead after a good centering pass from the right found Roland Villás alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Giovanni Arciotti's name was chanted throughout the stadium after his 71st minute goal up the middle gave Syberian the 3 - 2 lead. Mathematics appeared unsure on how to play and their organization was only weak. Syberian held the ball, with a clear 81 percent of possession.

The most dominating Syberian player was without a doubt Roland Villás. Adrián Saavedra was a disappointment, however. Most important Mathematics player was Burt Tabberer. However, Li Guan Hee made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 2.
