934 fans braved the pouring rain at [DDT] 新數皇大球場. Mathematics had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation. Lineup: Toffolo - Chong Boon, Kościółek, Pallarès, Thien Hu - Yue Shun, Xiaoping, Va'aknin, Nemilý, Juh shiun - Roy.

Chance tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players had been chosen: Deleau - Edwards, Noppen, Duyzer, Vrolijk - Frieling, de Brave, de Wildt, Driesen, Doverman - Heil.

Mathematics saw most attack opportunites on the wings. Julius Noppen of Chance was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 18 minutes in, the referee awarded Mathematics a penalty. Lin Yue Shun coolly slotted it home for a 1 - 0 lead. Mathematics put themselves up 2 - 0 when Mel Roy broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit Hilbrand Doverman just fine. In the 35th minute, Mathematics put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Zhang Juh shiun, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the 'keeper and knock the ball home. The structure of the game started to change as Mathematics decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. Mathematics had to make a substitution in the 39th minute. Huang Xiaoping limped off the field and was replaced by Bjarke Anderson. Chance appeared unsure on how to play and their organization was only inadequate. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Mathematics, bringing their ball possession to 56 percent, dominated the battle.

During the break, Chance's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organization. Benedictus Frieling nearly reduced 62 minutes into the game, but a splendid one-handed save by Mario Toffolo put a stop to the attempt coming in from the right flank. Bobby Duyzer nearly reduced 72 minutes into the game, but a splendid one-handed save by Mario Toffolo put a stop to the attempt coming in from the right flank. In the 73rd minute, Mathematics's Mel Roy tried to nail the coffin shut, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. In the game's 78th minute Mathematics's Mel Roy limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Chance seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organization. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Mathematics, with an impressive 58 percent possession of the ball.

Most important Mathematics player was Zhang Juh shiun. On the other hand, Mateu Pallarès's play was disheartening. The most dominating Chance player was without a doubt Michiel de Wildt. However, Keith Edwards made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
