Clear skies welcomed the 1181 spectators who had made their way to [DDT] 新數皇大球場. Mathematics started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Danjian - Pagkalos, Kościółek, Thien Hu - Núñez, Chong Wai, Nemilý, Anderson, Juh shiun - Kwong, Alessandría.

Anders had chosen a strategic 4-3-3 formation. Lineup: Peplow - Ursei, Sharp, Danke, Rivero - Matías, Arcaya, Pohlmann - Kivelä, Star, Darmenia.

Mathematics saw most attack opportunites on the wings. For their match strategy, Anders had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. Mathematics created a good opportunity to score in the game's 17th minute when Hei Chong Wai's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. Anders showed their counterattack skill in the 29th minute, with Nicolae Ursei scoring uncontested for 0 - 1. Mathematics's Zhang Juh shiun had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle in the 30th minute. Lin Yue Shun was the replacement. Mathematics's Bjarke Anderson put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored the 1 - 1 goal in the 37th minute. A swift counterattack by Anders resulted in a free kick that Dean Pohlmann elegantly twisted into the goal - 1 - 2! In the 44th minute, Mathematics's Rafael Núñez made a rush down the left, leaving him free to put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. 2 - 2 was the halftime score. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Mathematics, with an impressive 81 percent possession of the ball.

Friedolin Star showed why he is feared on the counterattack, scoring for Anders in the 51st minute to make the score 2 - 3. Rafael Núñez tipped the corner kick right to the keeper, who mishandled it, giving Mathematics's Oscar Washington Alessandría a chance to knock it in for 3-3. In the 80th minute Bjarke Anderson almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. Pepe Arcaya of Anders was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. This half belonged to Mathematics, who controlled the ball 89 percent of the time.

The most dominating Mathematics player was without a doubt Song Thien Hu. However, Yu Kwong made a disastrous appearance. Most important Anders player was Friedolin Star. On the other hand, Pepe Arcaya's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 3.
