1267 spectators arrived at [DDT] 新數皇大球場, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Mathematics tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players took the field: Danjian - Chong Boon, Kościółek, Pagkalos, Pallarès - Yue Shun, Va'aknin, Nemilý, Anderson, Kwong - Alessandría.

Pirata had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Barcellos - Jacobsson, van Duin, Hart - Losada, Giresse, Normar, Peermann, Leitão - Tarney, Korona.

It was an obvious ambition of Mathematics to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Today, Pirata's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. Pirata had a good opportunity to score the lead goal but the home team's goaltender Su Danjian saved Morris Tarney's shot that was headed for the top corner from the right. Pirata's Pierre Giresse skillfully knocked a pass over the top that was received by Morris Tarney who just managed to slot it past the opposing goalkeeper for 0 - 1. In the 22nd minute, Pirata put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Jakub Korona. In the 26th minute, a phenomenal play on the left side freed Mattias Jacobsson, of Pirata, to dash through and score another goal for the visitors. The score was then 0 - 3. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Pirata, bringing their ball possession to 61 percent, dominated the battle.

In the 53rd minute, a phenomenal play on the left side freed Pierre Giresse, of Pirata, to dash through and score another goal for the visitors. The score was then 0 - 4. Confident in their lead, Pirata decided to play a more defensive game at this point. Pirata had difficulty finding their positions and their organization dropped to inadequate. Mathematics's Yu Kwong had a shot to the post in the 64th minute, on a curved free kick by Yu Kwong. Yehoshua Va'aknin tried to get a goal back for his Mathematics but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete. In the 67th minute, Pirata's Emilio Losada received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Mathematics, as Omiros Pagkalos left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. Huang Xiaoping took his place on the field. In the 69th minute, a phenomenal play on the left side freed Jakub Korona, of Pirata, to dash through and score another goal for the visitors. The score was then 0 - 5. Su Danjian got a fingertip on Jakub Korona's shot from the left in the 72nd minute, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. This half belonged to Pirata, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

Mathematics's top performer was clearly Wilhelm Kościółek. Mateu Pallarès on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Pirata player was Morris Tarney. Zeca Leitão on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 5.
