Due to an all-day shower, 30305 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Energy Stadium. Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this Kowloon derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. Blifers had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. Lineup: Kutner - Ki young, Kum Seng, Pico - Corao, Hák, Harris, Tze Mein - Xing Peng, Hinkkanen, Méndez.

Mathematics had chosen a strategic 5-3-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Sava - Yue Shun, Xiaoping, Thien Hu, Pagkalos, Chong Boon - Juh shiun, Chong Wai, Chi hong - Kwong, Karkov.

Blifers showed off their creative tactics. It was an obvious ambition of Mathematics to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. With 17 minutes played Li Tze Mein almost gave the home side the lead with an unexpected free kick set up, but the visitors' Dan Sava was onto it, grabbing the would be breakthrough ball. Mathematics caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing in the 21st minute. Omiros Pagkalos was able to finish off the move - 0 - 1. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like Moisés Pico whose skills weren't made justice at all. A good free kick by Li Tze Mein would have scored the equaliser for Blifers, had it not been for the dramatic save by the visitors' goalkeeper. There was a bit of a mixup on the field as Blifers found themselves out of position and their organization level dropped to inadequate. Blifers's Li Tze Mein's early cross took everyone by surprise except for Kong Xing Peng who alertly redirected the ball goalwards and past the hapless goalkeeper to make the score 1 - 1. Blifers took the lead 39 minutes in, as Ernesto Méndez broke through on the left and put the 2 - 1 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. 40 minutes into the game, Blifers were awarded a penalty that Li Tze Mein turned into 3 - 1 without a problem. Confident in their lead, Blifers decided to play a more defensive game at this point. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 1. Blifers, bringing their ball possession to 82 percent, dominated the battle.

The Blifers players spent the halftime break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organization and regained a solid organization. In the 48th minute of the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Jacobo Corao dashed through, knocking home 4 - 1 for Blifers. Blifers's David Harris left the field after 70 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Patrick Taylor. There was a bit of a mixup on the field as Blifers found themselves out of position and their organization level dropped to poor. Kong Xing Peng should probably have put his team up another goal in the 83rd minute, but some great goaltending by Dan Sava kept the visitors in the game. Blifers's Li Tze Mein struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 5 - 1 after 85 minutes. In the 86th minute, Blifers's Li Tze Mein found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 6 - 1. That made three goals for Li Tze Mein and he was marked down for the hat trick. This half belonged to Blifers, who controlled the ball 84 percent of the time.

The most dominating Blifers player was without a doubt Yishai Kutner. Lauri Hinkkanen turned in a dismal performance, however. Mathematics's top performer was clearly Dan Sava. However, Yu Kwong made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 6 - 1.
