Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and frank_team saw a crowd turnout of 12000. frank__team had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players took the field: Apolinário - Popa, Barrio, Cohen - Sbandi, Pichilingue, Nurmisto, Rasborg, Sheung lam - Weiping, Sobral.

Mathematics had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation. Lineup: Danjian - Thien Hu, Kościółek, Pagkalos, Chong Boon - Juh shiun, Xiaoping, Chong Wai, Guan Hee, Yue Shun - Li Seng.

Mathematics clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. The guests took the lead in the 8th minute, after a right-side attack resulted in Lin Yue Shun scoring the 0 - 1 goal. The crowd chanted their encouragement as frank__team's Arlindo Sobral came in on the right in the 29th minute and put the ball in the net to even the score at 1 - 1. The referee showed Mathematics's Ye Li Seng the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Eki Nurmisto, but the frank__team player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! After an industrious effort down the middle, Eliezer Cohen could have closed the game off in the 43rd minute, but his finishing shot hit the post. Good work by Mathematics's defensive line produced a couple of good counterattack chances, one of which found Song Thien Hu alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. frank__team, bringing their ball possession to 54 percent, dominated the battle.

Mathematics were close to putting the equaliser away in the 63rd minute as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to Song Thien Hu in a scuffle in front of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the sideline. Mathematics appeared unsure on how to play and their organization was only passable. Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a 70th minute levelling of score as Mathematics's Zhang Juh shiun put the ball in the net for 2 - 2. Gianluca Sbandi of frank__team was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. frank__team's Eliezer Cohen tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. A counterattack by Mathematics in the 81st minute could have resulted in a goal, but Lin Yue Shun, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. There was a bit of a mixup on the field as Mathematics found themselves out of position and their organization level dropped to passable. Song Sheung lam's name was chanted throughout the stadium after his 87th minute goal up the middle gave frank__team the 3 - 2 lead. This half belonged to frank__team, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

Song Sheung lam performed admirably for frank__team. Teófilo Pichilingue turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Mathematics player was Zhang Juh shiun. Hei Chong Wai on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 2.
