2956 spectators arrived at Tintus Chan Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. bedandbreakfast decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. The following players took the field: Lui Dan - Woo Hyuk, Choong Yong, Han Young, Chuan Do - You Jing, Kwang Woo, Huan, Chunli - Tai Sun, Costabile.

A 5-4-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Mathematics. They fielded: Yee tai - Yue Shun, Xiaoping, Huai yong, Kościółek, Thien Hu - Chi hong, Chong Wai, Guan Hee, Juh shiun - Hongbo.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Mathematics. A header from Song Thien Hu connected with a corner kick after 21 minutes, and the ball ended up with Lin Yue Shun of Mathematics who shot home the 0-1 goal. Jiang Hongbo finished off the counterattack from the left rather easily, scoring 0 - 2 for Mathematics. After this, Mathematics lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. The home keeper was stunned in the 30th minute when he misjudged the free kick by Yang Chi hong and dove in the wrong direction. The visitors took the lead at 0 - 3. Mathematics's Zhang Juh shiun made it through the home team's defence in the 35th minute, and had only to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender sprang up from the left, clearing the ball on the line. There was a bit of a mixup on the field as Mathematics found themselves out of position and their organization level dropped to inadequate. Yang Chi hong of Mathematics received a yellow card in the 37th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Mathematics held the ball, with a clear 61 percent of possession.

A review of the gameplan helped Mathematics get back to a solid organization. The home crowd was not impressed when Yang Chi hong came in from the right, shooting hard to score in the 57th minute. Mathematics were now up 0 - 4. Mathematics appeared unsure on how to play and their organization was only wretched. After 67 minutes of game time, Wilhelm Kościółek had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Loh Lui Dan was in the right place and tipped the ball to a corner. In the 76th minute, bedandbreakfast's Ding Choong Yong received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Mathematics were forced to a substitution as Liu Huai yong couldn't continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Ye Chong Boon to come in from the sidelines. Mathematics held the ball, with a clear 70 percent of possession.

bedandbreakfast's best player was Chong Chunli. On the other hand, Cai Han Young's play was disheartening. Lin Yue Shun performed admirably for Mathematics. Li Guan Hee turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
