Idan Tichon looked great in the 10th minute after stopping a shot by the visitors' Huang Xiaoping. kung could have put themselves ahead in the 22nd minute but Lin Lu Po Teh missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. 27 minutes into the game Mathematics managed a counterattack, but Lin Yue Shun took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. In the 28th minute, kung's Thorleif Weltin received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. In a fantastic display of determination, Mathematics's Zhang Juh shiun forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. Some things can only be learned through experience, and Zeger Robbemond should take his lesson to heart after nearly giving Mathematics a goal in the 30th minute. Mathematics's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack, but Zhang Juh shiun's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. The crowd gasped as Vittorio Nota of Mathematics was flattened by an opponent in the 41st minute and had to be carried off. Ole Karkov came in off the bench. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. This half belonged to kung, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

49 minutes in, the referee awarded kung a penalty. Lin Lu Po Teh coolly slotted it home for a 1 - 0 lead. Mathematics's Yang Chi hong was shown a yellow card after 63 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, kung's Mogens Lønholdt got himself booked. Chen Li Huei came in to finish the match. kung dictated play, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

kung's best player was Russ Evans. However, Tony Kustermann made a disastrous appearance. Mathematics's top performer was clearly Samu-Pekka Salonpuro. Chen Li Huei turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
