Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and 元朗大球場* saw a crowd turnout of 12000. FFC decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Apolinário - Barrio, Gandino, Popa - Sbandi, Nurmisto, Hippeläinen, Rasborg, Sheung lam - Weiping, Sobral.

Mathematics started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Hengjie - Pagkalos, Thien Hu, Kościółek, Yue Shun - Chong Wai, Xiaoping, Guan Hee, Va'aknin, Juh shiun - Kwong.

Today, Mathematics's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. The left side created an opportunity for the visitors in the 5th minute, and Zhang Juh shiun wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. In the 7th minute, Mathematics's Song Thien Hu received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 11 minutes of play, Arlindo Sobral equalised for FFC after an elegant attack from the right. In the 49th minute, Song Sheung lam came in on the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to put away the 3 - 2 goal, giving FFC the lead. FFC's Silvestro Gandino was delighted to score the 4 - 2 goal after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper and into the net, following some good attacking movement on the right wing in the 50th minute. In the game's 60th minute, FFC's Eki Nurmisto fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Eki Nurmisto for diving. Heinrich Rasborg gave FFC supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 2 after 65 minutes, following a good exchange of passes on the right that the away team failed to deal with. After 73 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Arlindo Sobral might have resulted in another goal for FFC. However, Sun Hengjie made a spectacular save. FFC dictated play, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

Gianluca Sbandi performed admirably for FFC. Ljubomir Glavan turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Mathematics player was Zhang Juh shiun. However, Hei Chong Wai made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 2.
