The 12000 spectators at [DDT] 新數皇大球場 were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Mathematics started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. Starters: Iskandarov - Chong Boon, Kościółek, Pagkalos, Yue Shun - Guan Hee, Xiaoping, Chong Wai, Va'aknin, Juh shiun - Núñez.

Lulu had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Lineup: Acharayothin - Hartman, Malviccino, Chun Shin, Nego - Jian Xin, Bankovskiy, Yerushalmi, Wittenberg - Avivi, Aínsa.

The wings were the focus of most of Mathematics's attacks on this day. Lulu used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 13th minute goal by Yehoshua Va'aknin for Mathematics, putting them ahead 1 - 0. Lulu's Driekus Wittenberg's early cross took everyone by surprise except for Chan Jian Xin who alertly redirected the ball goalwards and past the hapless goalkeeper to make the score 1 - 1. A mistake by the home side's central defence in the 29th minute allowed Marco Antonio Aínsa to score the 1 - 2 goal for Lulu. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Mathematics dictated play, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile Lin Yue Shun. 64 minutes into the match, Mathematics's Rafael Núñez maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 2 - 2. Lulu took the lead in the game's 73rd minute, scoring the 2 - 3 goal after some elegant plays down the middle. Yoram Avivi was the scorer. After 80 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Yury Bankovskiy who increased Lulu's lead to 2 - 4. After this, Lulu lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Mathematics dictated play, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Mathematics's best player was Zhang Juh shiun. However, Li Guan Hee made a disastrous appearance. Shalom Yerushalmi performed admirably for Lulu. However, Chan Jian Xin made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 4.
