The 21st minute saw a great chance for Hattrick_Patrick to take the lead after a good centering pass from the right found Carlo Darbellay alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. There was a bit of a mixup on the field as Hattrick_Patrick found themselves out of position and their organization level dropped to weak. Daniel Ruivo behaved like an inexperienced youth player in the 32nd minute as he gave the ball away to an opponent. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. It was 0 - 0 at the break. A review of the gameplan helped Hattrick_Patrick get back to a passable organization. Mathematics's Huang Xiaoping could have put the guests one up in the 63rd minute chasing a through ball from the right, but Nissim Gur was fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. A long pass from the defence of Hattrick_Patrick resulted in a counterattack that set Bengt Staalenburg free, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. Hattrick_Patrick's Shaheen Shareef was shown a yellow card after 69 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 0 - 1 was the score in the 75th minute, after Mathematics's Oscar Washington Alessandría cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal.
