yahooqq tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. They fielded: Fahua - Junyu, Guangting, Nanxiong, Pingfang - Aoda, Cijia, Jianhong, Kanghan - Dijie, Kaiming.
It was an obvious ambition of Mathematics to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Mathematics were very close to putting themselves one up in the 13th minute as Bjarke Anderson got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. After 23 minutes of play, Song Thien Hu gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. The visitors refused to give up and, in the 26th minute, Xie Kanghan scored the tying 1 - 1 goal as he finished off a perfect pass from the right. Lin Nanxiong got left behind when Mathematics's James Baitieri made a sudden pull forward in the 35th minute, finishing off with a swift strike. 2-1! A great save by keeper Niu Fahua in the 38th minute kept the visitors in the game after Wilhelm Kościółek struck from the left with a real cannonball. Many in the crowd felt the referee was being too lenient when he only showed yahooqq's Liu Jianhong a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind in the 38th minute. The Mathematics player who had to be helped off the pitch, was Oscar Washington Alessandría as he was unable to finish the game. Ye Chong Boon came in to finish the match. It was 2 - 1 at the break. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Mathematics, with an impressive 65 percent possession of the ball.
After 51 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Ye Chong Boon might have resulted in another goal for Mathematics. However, Niu Fahua made a spectacular save. Yu Aoda of yahooqq received a yellow card in the 52nd minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Liu Jianhong was suffering from cramps and had difficulty keeping up as the opposition pushed forward. Yehoshua Va'aknin had no problems getting through and hit home the 4 - 1 goal. Mathematics's Wilhelm Kościółek was delighted to score the 5 - 1 goal after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper and into the net, following some good attacking movement on the right wing in the 83rd minute. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for Mathematics. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Mathematics, with an impressive 81 percent possession of the ball.
Zhang Juh shiun performed admirably for Mathematics. On the other hand, Ye Chong Boon's play was disheartening. The most dominating yahooqq player was without a doubt Yu Aoda. Niu Fahua on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 1.
