It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 11897 that came out to [DDT] 新數皇大球場. Mathematics decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. The following players took the field: Danjian - Chong Boon, Chong Wai, Kościółek, Thien Hu - Juh shiun, Xiaoping, Guan Hee, Karkov, Yue Shun - Nota.
Victoria had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Lineup: Shay-ping - Chin-Way, Jing, Thien-Binh, Jin-Soon - Shan-min, Phi-Hung,
Singleton, Sun-Taji - Yu-pei, Tien-Soong.
Mathematics demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. Mathematics fans held their breath as Li Guan Hee scampered down
the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the go-ahead goal for 1-0! A speedy charge from the left
side of the field increased Mathematics's lead to 2 - 0 as Li Guan Hee finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. A
long pass from the defence of Victoria resulted in a counterattack that set ZhangCai Tien-Soong free, but the keeper made a
spectacular diving save. Mathematics put themselves up 3 - 0 when Lin Yue Shun broke through on the right, leaving the entire
defensive box behind him. After this, Mathematics lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Li Guan
Hee gave Mathematics supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0 after 36 minutes, following a good
exchange of passes on the right that the away team failed to deal with. That made three goals for Li Guan Hee and he was marked
down for the hat trick. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. Mathematics held the ball, with a clear 77 percent of
possession.
Wilhelm Kościółek's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some amazing plays that fooled the defence. Lin Yue Shun
almost managed to score another goal for Mathematics, but his header was tipped to a corner by the visitors' keeper. Ole Karkov
should probably have put his team up another goal in the 70th minute, but some great goaltending by Guo Shay-ping kept the
visitors in the game. The referee showed Victoria's Zeng Thien-Binh the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
Mathematics put themselves up 5 - 0 when Song Thien Hu broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him.
Mathematics put in a good effort on the right, but Hei Chong Wai saw his volley fly wide of the mark in the 75th minute. In the
game's 81st minute, Mathematics's Huang Xiaoping fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked
Huang Xiaoping for diving. This half belonged to Mathematics, who controlled the ball 79 percent of the time.
Mathematics's best player was Zhang Juh shiun. Li Guan Hee was a disappointment, however. Victoria's top performer was clearly
Loong Yu-pei. Christian Singleton turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
