Tjugosjö IF
From Hattrick
Tjugosjö IF is a Swedish club was founded on February 13 2005 by zyax1 later known as PMS-zyax or DJ-zyax. The club started in div IX.341 where they trained defence for a few weeks before switching to playmaking. After some serious mistakes in the beginning Tjugosjö succeeded in making second place promoting to div VIII.171. Probably the easiest season in the club history made them winners promoting to VII.785 where they met really active managers. With a poor team they managed to get the top spot and got promoted to VI.546. Now the goal was to compete with the top teams for a few seasons before going up to V, but the new tactics Tjugosjötaktiken made them winners with some points and got promoted to V.767 one of the hardest in Sweden as well as in the world. With total starting salaries of about 30000$ the team had about one tenth of the other teams salaries at that moment. Tjugosjö ended up 6th that season. 3 seasons later Tjugosjö won V.767 promoting to IV.52.
Important moments
- The double win against FC Thad the first season in V.767.
- First real cupseason season 30 where they beat HT-Björn and his Menlösa IF ending in the 6th round.
- Second fine cupseason season 32 ended in 9th round against Allsvenskan all-time marathon leaders EM Tigers.
Top players
- Sakarias Gabrielsson, the double trained winger.
- Alon Gafni, double trained forwards towards wing.
Tactics
Tjugosjötaktiken. In 2005 when the possibility to play forwards towards wing came, Tjugosjö was among the first teams in Sweden playing this all-out-attack that has close connection to the Lunda tactics, that Lokomotiv Lund played successfully for so many seasons. Manager zyax named the tactics (in thread 4351247.1) Tjugosjötaktiken not knowing that at least a few others in Sweden played the same tactics right from the start in october 2005 as well. Nowadays many managers have adapted the successful tactics. The base of Tjugosjötaktiken is played 3-5-2 with two offensive wing defenders (wingers), one offensive central defender (playmaker), two offensive wingers, 3 midfielders, 2 forwards towards wing and with attack on wings (AOW).
