Aldershot & Farnham Albion FC
Aldershot & Farham Albion is a football team from the Hampshire region of England which currently plays in VI.971.
Club history
Aldershot & Farnham Albion is a relatively young club, foundeded in 2006 at the end of season 28. During the side's first season in the Football League, the team were found wanting and eventually crashed out with a grand total of two points and no wins. The inexperience of the manager lead to a number of mistakes on the transfer market, dwindling the side of much of it's finances. Despite this season of failure, the team reached the second round of the cup before being knocked out by a much stronger team.
The following season started with hope and optimism, hoping that the team would storm the league and bounce back up to league VI. An impressive 4-0 win over jordan 1434 on the oppening game of the season attacked as the ignition for a winning strike that has so far lasted The entire season. Furthermore, the manager brought in a new coach to assisst with training and a number of young players, seeing the need to nuture young talent. Aldershot won the league undefeated with 42 points, gaining promotion to the VI series. At the beginning of the club's third season, the club aimed simply to avoid relegation. After only two matches, both of which were draws, they only required two more goals to equal the number of goals they scored last time they were in the VI series. With a less than impressive first half to the season, it seemed Aldershot would be forced into a relegation battle but a magnificent second half to the season, seeing the team undefeated in five games including four consequetive victories, cumulating in a final day of the season draw against the league leaders (making AFA the only team in the league undefeated against the leaders), led to an impressive finish in third place, due to a superior goal diffence. The team hopes to continue to develop over the next season, as well as going further in their history than before in the cup. Rumours have also been released of the forthcoming expansion of AFA's stadium, St George's Park although nothing has been comfirmed nor denied.
