Senior National Team

Bolivia began international play prior to World Cup IV, but they did not participate in that tournament as they were not one of the top 40 teams in the world rankings at the start of the tournament. The team has never advanced out of qualification, although they did finish third in their group in qualification for World Cup XIII.
U-20 National Team

Bolivia began international play during the final rounds of U-20 World Cup III. They did not participate in U-20 World Cup IV, as the team was not in the top 40 of the international ranking at the start of that tournament. Bolivia's first official competition was in qualifying for U-20 World Cup V. The team has never advanced out of qualification, although they have finished third twice, in qualification for U-20 World Cup VI and U-20 World Cup X.
