There is a country in Central Europe where this great game has been played for 12 seasons. In spite of its small population there are more than 7000 Hattrick players among its inhabitants, and our devotion is best proven by the achievements of our National Teams:
-Couple of time they managed to qualify to the TOP 16
-Managed to be 3rd on the unofficial European Championship

For a visitor the language spoken here might seem strange, but that's because it's unique. Just like our culture, the beauty of our landscape, and last but not least our stadiums, many of them more than adequate to host world cup games.

Our HT community is looking forward to an event fit for our devotion and diligence, and of course for the stadiums we build up, to be organized in our country.

Hattrick wiki logo contest

This contest was kicked of to get [[Main_Page|this great project]] a new logo.

For this a call for suggestions was posted in several conferences within Hattrick as well as external forums.

A nice idea is to ''hattrickify'' the logo of Wikipedia, but any other idea is welcome.
The logo should ideally visualize the great knowledge which is stored in hattrick wiki.

Suggestions by different artists will be posted here along with their Hattrick user name and in the conference of the [[Hattrick Wiki Federation]] (wiki) (allianceid: 33894).

I've kicked off a contest to get this great project a new logo. For this I've posted the call for suggestions in several confereces within Hattrick as well as external forums.

Writings will be changed by the artists if the logo gets selected as the new Hattrick Wiki Logo. I can understand they don't want the logos to be selected without their knowledge ;)

BTW, The logos should need some acceptable license. I think that BSD, GFDL or GPL would be fine but it's unclarified (see the text at the end of the edition page).

I love the first logo, but it needs better text at the bottom. I don't like the hattwiki thing.
The 2nd logo is a little too hard to read for my taste, and it doesn't make mention of the wiki.
I like the third logo, but I'm not sure something so square is what we want.
The fourth is just funny. I think I like it best though.

I have reverted the page again, and I've added it to my watchlist. I'm going to revert back every change that includes your image. No hard feelings, but this is an OFFICIAL Hattrick site, and rules apply. It's not allowed to use offensive words on Hattrick, nor should it be allowed to do so here, unless you get permission for that from a GM, in which case I'll gladly admit I was wrong. Keep in mind that there are members of the staff monitoring the Wiki, and that some people have already been banned from the Wiki because of what they did. STILL--the idea that wikis are unmoderated is a misnomer. Wikis (and in particular this one) are ''community'' moderated. What that means is that if the consensus is against whatever you wanted to post, then you should bow out. At some point, simply being overly obstinate would justify an IP ban.

I have reverted the page again, and I've added it to my watchlist. I'm going to revert back every change that includes your image. No hard feelings, but this is an OFFICIAL Hattrick site, and rules apply. It's not allowed to use offensive words on Hattrick, nor should it be allowed to do so here, unless you get permission for that from a GM, in which case I'll gladly admit I was wrong. Keep in mind that there are members of the staff monitoring the Wiki, and that some people have already been banned from the Wiki because of what they did. This contest was kicked of to get [[Main_Page|this great project]] a new logo.

For this a call for suggestions was posted in several conferences within Hattrick as well as external forums.

A nice idea is to ''hattrickify'' the logo of Wikipedia, but any other idea is welcome.
The logo should ideally visualize the great knowledge which is stored in hattrick wiki.

Suggestions by different artists will be posted here along with their Hattrick user name and in the conference of the [[Hattrick Wiki Federation]] (wiki) (allianceid: 33894).

The 2nd logo is a little too hard to read for my taste, and it doesn't make mention of the wiki.
I like the third logo, but I'm not sure something so square is what we want.
The fourth is just funny. I think I like it best though.

I have reverted the page again, and I've added it to my watchlist. I'm going to revert back every change that includes your image. No hard feelings, but this is an OFFICIAL Hattrick site, and rules apply. It's not allowed to use offensive words on Hattrick, nor should it be allowed to do so here, unless you get permission for that from a GM, in which case I'll gladly admit I was wrong. Keep in mind that there are members of the staff monitoring the Wiki, and that some people have already been banned from the Wiki because of what they did. Hoopa, all your words seems to be correct but note that YOU are not the staff of the hattrick. They have the chance sooner as you are here to say me: hey you do the wrong thing please be moderated! But they don't do it yet. So it is not the PLACE to threaten anybody with a ban. You have not the authority to do this, my image is an official member of the challange. So get out of it! :)

Thing is, the logo's not even very good. Or, IMO, funny. Also, I'm not sure anyone's been banned from the site yet, though it is technically possible to ban IPs. This logo, however, probably wouldn't justify a ban or any action at all on part of the HT staff.

STILL--the idea that wikis are unmoderated is a misnomer. Wikis (and in particular this one) are ''community'' moderated. What that means is that if the consensus is against whatever you wanted to post, then you should bow out. At some point, simply being overly obstinate would justify an IP ban.

But there's clearly no consensus here yet. Hell, not even much discussion. For me and my part, I say the logo should go--mainly because it's trite, uninteresting and juvenile. Also, most of the other logos are CLEARLY better, so this one vanishing would be no loss at all.
