Some people focus on being the best forward trainer, some focus on collecting flags and other focus on being an active member of the community for example. Now we add yet another career possibility: achievements.''

Winning your league or advancing some rounds in the cup, for example, will give you some points, as will receiving a certain amount of stars in a match. Moreover you will also receive points for other things in the game like founding a federation, buying/selling a player, writing a conference post, climbing up the rankings and becoming a National coach. Most achievements will be known, but there will also be some hidden achievements to seek for. ''

== Achievement Myth ==

It is rumored that some of the achievements are bugged, eg. will never be awarded because of errors in the code behind the site.
There are two main reasons for this myth:
* The fact that the initial editorial about achievements pointed to an achievement (winning your league) which no one has gotten.
* The fact that close to 1/3 of all points have not been discovered 27 months after the introduction of this feature.

== Achievement Bugs ==

* On the 16th of January 2008 Hattrick announces in a MyHT message that a long suspected bug which was probably introduced during the upgrade of several parts of the site on the 5th of November 2007 was now fixed.
: ''We have at last found the nasty bug which has stopped the achievement updates from working properly. In matches played after 2008-01-15 10.00 the achievements update should work as usual again. Unfortunately we can not do any retroactive update of older achievements (made while the updates were malfunctioning). Sadly enough, this means any achievement taken during this period will be forever lost.''

: Achievements affected by this bug where the [[Home-grown lineup]] and [[Academy lineup]]. Also the ''Team reached X stars in a match'' achievement did not function properly in this period.

* When the Achievement bug fix was announced a new bug was introduced meaning that you would get star achievements not only if the stars of the 11 players (or less) who finish you game in total yields enough stars totally to reach the next level (see below for levels), now the stars of injured players were also included in this calculation making it easier to get star achievements if one or more players were injured in a game. This bug was fixed on the 1st of February 2008.

* Around the 19th of April 2008 part of the site was upgraded to .Net and the calculation of how common achievements are was altered but the calculation of the number of U20 and NT coaches was about 3/4 of a million too high. The numbers for how many was elected U20 and NT coach was altered a few days later after a bug report was made. [[User:marnow|GM-marnow]] gave this explanation for the change made on the achievement page of each club team on the 19th of April 2008:

Achivements is clearly not for everyone, just like collecting flags. It does however provide something fun for some and nothing to someone else.

We had to take a decision about past achievements and we chose this approach for simplicity, time and performance reasons. There would have been billions of rows of data to go through just to get all this. There are some harder/rare achievements that will be awarded retroactive though.

It's the same for everyone even though it might feel bad for those been long in the game. But, Maybe it's time chasing those achievements again? Maybe this will give you and others some fire in the butt to go longer in the Cup than before or even win it? :)

There are many achivements loaded in the game, easy (those you've already seen) and more rare and much harder ones. Give it some time as I'm sure many will see some fun in this thing sooner or later.

I agree that Achievements needs to be fixed, but they simply have not been up there on the list of most critical things to fix - it will need a deep look, and this year it has been more important to get the .NET and redesign done, and even after this I would say for example the economy is several times more important than achievements. Of course this does not change the fact that they should be working better, but we have to be realistic here and achievements simply is not a top priority.

I'm trying to sort out the achievements by category and by points they give. I'd also like them to be written ''exactly'' as they are written in Hattrick. The six achievements I have put under team and manager achievements are the ones I have seen, and will propably be rather soon visible in most of the achievement pages. If you write any rare achievements here I'd love to see them myself, so I would appreciate the team id of teams where you have spotted those particular achievements. Can anyone tell me what zero expenses means?

:: 100% impossible for established teams as that would demand you to remove your entire stadium, sell or fire your players and fire all of your staff. However, the problem is that you can't fire or sell your coach and thereby can't get to the point of 0 expenses. : I'm assuming that these are for total TSI of the whole team. The more you have, the more points. Kind of encourages buying a divine for an economic update. The other is for having a certain cash balance on hand for an economic update. As the entire world goes through the updates, we should get a fairly clear picture on what the brackets are. : This is indeed strange, but there's a rumor floating around that teams that don't have an "active" achievement such as pulling a youth or selling a player won't get a passive achievement such as cash because this would save server computations. I have "Troop total TSI reached 67200 5", however, foxtrick and Hattrick Control show me that my team have TSI 68.600. Is this another bug??

*Interesting - what happens if you get TSI above a threshhold, then sell a player before an update occurs? I have just had it around 1350000 for most of the week - but did not get anything so far..

The limits are as follows:

1500 = 5 points
2000 = 15 points
3000 = 30 points

I've got 1308 fans and 5 points, so table is not true.

: That doesn't proove the table wrong. It just tells us that the achievement isn't awarded to everyone. Someone told in the HT-forum that his fan club didn't change in size and he got 0 points with a fanclub over 2000. On the Dutch national forum there is a discussion about this point: ''Sold a youth player (10 pts)'', some people sold their youth players, but didn't get any points. Correct indeed, my first sold player was a youth player (142084197) I got the points for selling a player, but not for selling a youth player. At the moment I think you get the points for selling a youth player that has been for ... months in your team, or a rebought youth player who will be sold again.

== Advancing in the domestic cup ==

I just found a team in Denmark that has received 10 point for reaching round 3 in the danish cup. Nothing was stated in the article nor here, so hope you can use this info. The TeamID is 19804. I guess it varies from country to country as some have more rounds than other countries - but i believe that no matter what country your are from you will get the same amount of points for winning the cup.

I use the danish version of Hattrick, and for one reason or another i can't login with the english version, it is changed back when i try to change it to the english version. I just visited your team (i expect you have the same username in Hattrick) and your league opponent and in danish it says advancing from 3rd round - will someone please write this in english after you have found the correct spelling form in Hattrick. Visit TeamID 19804 or 75248 to check the spelling. It is actually quite strange if you ask me. Just visited a team from ecuador and though they only have 880 teams in their league you still only get 10 points from advancing from round 3, which means they will get less points in total for getting all the way through the domestic cup. The number of points for reaching the semi-final, final and being the winner of the domestic cup might be the same in all nations regardless of size, that is what I expect. : The point is that as there aren't as many teams in all countries you can't get the same amount of points for advancing through the 3rd round as in greater countries with many teams. Here's an example of a team in a small nation, TeamID 484702. Unless you mean that you think that the first couple of rounds yield the same amount of points and then when you reach the semi-finals and final you get exactly the same as all other countries do. In that case you will get a lot of extra points advancing from the 3rd last round into the semi-finals in a small country. Hope you get me. These have been talked through in the ASF (Achievements Seeker Federation). I think they as they are as of now rather certain. Maybe we could add a comment saying that this is not certain.
