'''Mod-Karlthegreat''' is a user from [[Lëtzebuerg]]. He's the manager of [[FC Lëtzebuerg 05]] since the 2nd of June 2005 and he joined Hattrick as ''Karlthegreat'' on the 31st of May. After having played the game as a regular user for roughly nine months, he became an [[LA]] for German and occupied this position from the 19th of March 2006 to the 25th of March 2007. Since the 19st of July 2006, he is also a [[Mod]] for his home country Lëtzebuerg. He has also been a Mod for several other countries too, including [[Deutschland]], [[Schweiz]], [[Österreich]], [[Liechtenstein]], [[France]] and eight countries in [[Asia]] and [[Africa]]. He has retreated to Luxembourg only at the end of 2010 as real-life took over. Since 5th of August 2011 he is moderating in [[Chinese Taipei]] again.
He was also the translation lead for ''Lëtzebuergesch'' and is currently the only LA responsible for this language version. Mod-Karlthegreat is also Super LA and has been a Global Editor. As a Super LA he takes care of the translation progress of future language versions.

== Tarihçe ==
Yenikent Spor Kulübü, 27 Haziran 2009 tarihinde, o dönemde sahipsiz olan manisa_kartalı takımının yerine, nicomedian tarafından kurulmuştur. nicomedian, kulübün renklerini Kırmızı-Mavi olarak belirlemiştir. O dönemde 6. sırada bulunan kulüp, nicomedian'ın başa geçmesiyle hızlı bir yükselişe geçmiş, fakat kulüp sezon bitimine az kala kurulduğu için VIII.499 kümesini 4. sırada bitirmiştir. Kulüpte, kuruluşundan itibaren gözle görülen bir taraftar artışı yaşanmıştır. Kulüp, hızla gelecek sezona hazırlanmakta ve gelecek sezon bir üst lige çıkmayı hedeflemektedir.

Yenikent Spor Kulübü'nün logosu, bir daire içinde önunde Mavi-Kirmızı kalkan bulunan bir kartaldan oluşmaktadır. Daire içindeki kartal, Yenikent Spor Kulübü'nün simgesidir. Önunde bulunan Mavi-Kirmızı kalkan ise, Yenikent Spor Kulübü'nün renklerini temsil eder. Ayrıca kalkan, kulübün her zaman var olacağını simgelemektedir. Kalkan içindeki futbol topu figürü de, Yenikent Spor Kulübü'nün branşının sadece futbol olduğunu göstermektedir. Logo içindeki sade Yenikentspor yazısı, ne olursa olsun kulübün sadeliğini koruyacağını belirtir. Logonun arkasındaki daire şeklindeki kalkan da, kulübün arkasındaki gücü simgeler.

== Mythe ==
Une rumeur court selon laquelle certaines réussites seraient buggées, c.a.d. que des erreurs empêcheraient qu'elles soient jamais accordées.
Il est deux raisons principales à ce mythe:
* Le fait que l'éditorial initial indiquait une réussite qui n'a jamais été accordée.
* Le fait que près d'1/3 des points ne soient toujours pas découverts 27 mois après l'introduction de cette fonctionnalité.
A ce jour (Mai 2009) la plupart des bugs les plus sérieux concernant les réussites sont corrigés (Cf. ci-dessous). Clairement les réussites ne sont pas pour tout le monde, tout comme collecter les drapeaux. Cependant elles donnent du plaisir à une partie des joueurs et aucun à d'autres.

Il a fallu trancher à propos des réussites passées, et nous avons choisi cette approche pour des raisons de simplicité et de performance. Il aurait sinon fallu parcourir des milliards de lignes de données. Cependant certaines réussites rares et difficiles à obtenir pourront être accordées rétroactivement.

C'est pareil pour tout le monde bien que ça puisse sembler dur à qui joue depuis longtemps. Peut-être est-ce le moment de se mettre en chasse de ces réussites ? Un appat pour vous faire aller plus loin en Coupe qu'avant, voire la gagner ? :)

Le jeu comporte de nombreuses réussites, certaines aisées (vous les avez déjà vues) et d'autres bien plus dures. Avec le temps je suis sûr que beaucoup y prendront plaisir tôt ou tard.

== Bugs ==
Le 22 Avril 2009, HT-Stefan a announcé qu'il travaillait à debugger les réussites. La plupart des bugs sont maintenant corrigés, mais le travail est encore en cours. Certaines réussites qomme [[Special Awards|0 expenses]], Bien que fonctionnelles, ne peuvent être atteintes par toutes les équipes. On a découvertaussi que la réussite de victoire de la ligue n'était pas buggée, puisqu'elle n'existait pas, bien que mentionnée dans l'éditorial d'origine.

Voici une liste de bugs corrigés :
* Le 16 Janvier 2008 Hattrick annonce qu'un bug suspecté depuis lontemps, probablement introduit lors d'une mise à jour de plusieurs parties du site le 5 Novembre 2007, est corrigé.
: ''Nous avons enfin trouvé le vilain bug qui contrariait la mise à jour des réussites. Les matches joués après le 15-1-2008 à 10.00 seront traités normalement. Malheureusement il n'y aura pas rétroactivement de mise à jour des réussites plus anciennes. Cela signifie hélas que les réussites en question sont définitivement perdues.''

: Les réussites affectées étaient [[Composition de joueurs issus du club]] et [[Composition de jeunes issus du club]], ainsi que ''L’équipe a atteint X étoiles lors de ce match''.

* Ce faisant, un nouveau bug a été introduit : vous obteniez les réussites relatives aux étoiles non seulement si les 11 joueurs (or moins) finissant le jeu totalisent assez d'étoiles pour atteindre le niveau suivant, mais aussi si un joueur blessé faisait atteindre ce seuil, ses étoiles s'ajoutant à celles des 11 autres joueurs rendaient la réussite plus facile. Ce bug a été corrigé le 1er Fevrier 2008.

* Vers le 19 Avril 2008, une partie du site a été dotnettisée et le calcul du nombre de coaches U20 and NT faussé. [[User:marnow|GM-marnow]] a ainsi expliqué le changement sur la page des réussites de chaque club le 19 Avril 2008:

== Mythe ==
Une rumeur court selon laquelle certaines réussites seraient buggées, c.a.d. que des erreurs empêcheraient qu'elles soient jamais accordées.
Il est deux raisons principales à ce mythe:
* Le fait que l'éditorial initial indiquait une réussite qui n'a jamais été accordée.
* Le fait que près d'1/3 des points ne soient toujours pas découverts 27 mois après l'introduction de cette fonctionnalité.

Il aurait sinon fallu parcourir des milliards de lignes de données. Cependant certaines réussites rares et difficiles à obtenir pourront être accordées rétroactivement.

C'est pareil pour tout le monde bien que ça puisse sembler dur à qui joue depuis longtemps. Peut-être est-ce le moment de se mettre en chasse de ces réussites ? Un appat pour vous faire aller plus loin en Coupe qu'avant, voire la gagner ? :)

Le jeu comporte de nombreuses réussites, certaines aisées (vous les avez déjà vues) et d'autres bien plus dures. Avec le temps je suis sûr que beaucoup y prendront plaisir tôt ou tard.

== Bugs ==
Le 22 Avril 2009, HT-Stefan a announcé qu'il travaillait à debugger les réussites. La plupart des bugs sont maintenant corrigés, mais le travail est encore en cours. Certaines réussites qomme [[Special Awards|0 expenses]], Bien que fonctionnelles, ne peuvent être atteintes par toutes les équipes. On a découvertaussi que la réussite de victoire de la ligue n'était pas buggée, puisqu'elle n'existait pas, bien que mentionnée dans l'éditorial d'origine.

Voici une liste de bugs corrigés :
* Le 16 Janvier 2008 Hattrick annonce qu'un bug suspecté depuis lontemps, probablement introduit lors d'une mise à jour de plusieurs parties du site le 5 Novembre 2007, est corrigé.
: ''Nous avons enfin trouvé le vilain bug qui contrariait la mise à jour des réussites. Les matches joués après le 15-1-2008 à 10.00 seront traités normalement. Malheureusement il n'y aura pas rétroactivement de mise à jour des réussites plus anciennes. Cela signifie hélas que les réussites en question sont définitivement perdues.''

: Les réussites affectées étaient [[Composition de joueurs issus du club]] et [[Composition de jeunes issus du club]], ainsi que ''L’équipe a atteint X étoiles lors de ce match''.

* Ce faisant, un nouveau bug a été introduit : vous obteniez les réussites relatives aux étoiles non seulement si les 11 joueurs (or moins) finissant le jeu totalisent assez d'étoiles pour atteindre le niveau suivant, mais aussi si un joueur blessé faisait atteindre ce seuil, ses étoiles s'ajoutant à celles des 11 autres joueurs rendaient la réussite plus facile. Ce bug a été corrigé le 1er Fevrier 2008.

* Vers le 19 Avril 2008, une partie du site a été dotnettisée et le calcul du nombre de coaches U20 and NT faussé. [[User:marnow|GM-marnow]] a ainsi expliqué le changement sur la page des réussites de chaque club le 19 Avril 2008:

== Mythe ==
Une rumeur court selon laquelle certaines réussites seraient buggées, c.a.d. que des erreurs empêcheraient qu'elles soient jamais accordées.
Il est deux raisons principales à ce mythe:
* Le fait que l'éditorial initial indiquait une réussite qui n'a jamais été accordée.
* Le fait que près d'1/3 des points ne soient toujours pas découverts 27 mois après l'introduction de cette fonctionnalité.
A ce jour (Mai 2009) la plupart des bugs les plus sérieux concernant les réussites sont corrigés (Cf. ci-dessous). Le 22 Avril 2009, HT-Stefan a announcé qu'il travaillait à debugger les réussites. La plupart des bugs sont maintenant corrigés, mais le travail est encore en cours. Certaines réussites qomme [[Special Awards|0 expenses]], Bien que fonctionnelles, ne peuvent être atteintes par toutes les équipes. On a découvertaussi que la réussite de victoire de la ligue n'était pas buggée, puisqu'elle n'existait pas, bien que mentionnée dans l'éditorial d'origine.

Voici une liste de bugs corrigés :
* Le 16 Janvier 2008 Hattrick annonce qu'un bug suspecté depuis lontemps, probablement introduit lors d'une mise à jour de plusieurs parties du site le 5 Novembre 2007, est corrigé.
: ''Nous avons enfin trouvé le vilain bug qui contrariait la mise à jour des réussites. Les matches joués après le 15-1-2008 à 10.00 seront traités normalement. Malheureusement il n'y aura pas rétroactivement de mise à jour des réussites plus anciennes. Cela signifie hélas que les réussites en question sont définitivement perdues.''

* Ce faisant, un nouveau bug a été introduit : vous obteniez les réussites relatives aux étoiles non seulement si les 11 joueurs (or moins) finissant le jeu totalisent assez d'étoiles pour atteindre le niveau suivant, mais aussi si un joueur blessé faisait atteindre ce seuil, ses étoiles s'ajoutant à celles des 11 autres joueurs rendaient la réussite plus facile. Ce bug a été corrigé le 1er Fevrier 2008.

== Mythe ==
Une rumeur court selon laquelle certaines réussites seraient buggées, c.a.d. que des erreurs empêcheraient qu'elles soient jamais accordées.
Il est deux raisons principales à ce mythe:
* Le fait que l'éditorial initial indiquait une réussite qui n'a jamais été accordée.
* Le fait que près d'1/3 des points ne soient toujours pas découverts 27 mois après l'introduction de cette fonctionnalité.
A ce jour (Mai 2009) la plupart des bugs les plus sérieux concernant les réussites sont corrigés (Cf. ci-dessous). Clairement les réussites ne sont pas pour tout le monde, tout comme collecter les drapeaux. Cependant elles donnent du plaisir à une partie des joueurs et aucun à d'autres.

Il a fallu trancher à propos des réussites passées, et nous avons choisi cette approche pour des raisons de simplicité et de performance. Il aurait sinon fallu parcourir des milliards de lignes de données. Cependant certaines réussites rares et difficiles à obtenir pourront être accordées rétroactivement.

C'est pareil pour tout le monde bien que ça puisse sembler dur à qui joue depuis longtemps. Peut-être est-ce le moment de se mettre en chasse de ces réussites ? Un appat pour vous faire aller plus loin en Coupe qu'avant, voire la gagner ? :)

Le jeu comporte de nombreuses réussites, certaines aisées (vous les avez déjà vues) et d'autres bien plus dures. Avec le temps je suis sûr que beaucoup y prendront plaisir tôt ou tard.

Winning your league or advancing some rounds in the cup, for example, will give you some points, as will receiving a certain amount of stars in a match. Most achievements will be known, but there will also be some hidden achievements to seek for. ''

== Achievement Myth ==
It is rumored that some of the achievements are bugged, i.e., will never be awarded because of errors in the code behind the site.
There are two main reasons for this myth:
* The fact that the initial editorial about achievements pointed to an achievement (winning your league) which no one has gotten.
* The fact that close to 1/3 of all points have not been discovered 27 months after the introduction of this feature.
As of May 2009 many of the more serious achievement bugs have been fixed (see achievement bugs section below). It is likely that some of the remaining points belong in existing categories of achievements (e.g. ''Team reached average match rating of 19''; ''Founded federation, received 5000+ members'').

== Achievement Bugs ==
On the 22nd of April 2009 HT-Stefan announced that he was working to debug all achievement issues. Most of the bugs are now fixed, but there are still issues that are being worked on. Some achievements such as [[Special Awards|0 expenses]], although working, are not achieveable by all teams. It also has been discovered that the achievement for winning your league is not bugged, but rather it never existed at all, despite being mentioned in the original editorial.

The following is a list of achievement bugs that have now been corrected:
* On the 16th of January 2008 Hattrick announces in a My Hattrick message that a long suspected bug which was probably introduced during the upgrade of several parts of the site on the 5th of November 2007 was now fixed.
: ''We have at last found the nasty bug which has stopped the achievement updates from working properly. In matches played after 2008-01-15 10.00 the achievements update should work as usual again. Unfortunately we can not do any retroactive update of older achievements (made while the updates were malfunctioning). Sadly enough, this means any achievement taken during this period will be forever lost.''

: Achievements affected by this bug were the [[Home-grown lineup]] and [[Academy lineup]]. Also the ''Team reached X stars in a match'' achievement did not function properly in this period.

* When this achievement bug fix was announced a new bug was introduced meaning that you would get star achievements not only if the stars of the 11 players (or less) who finish you game in total yields enough stars totally to reach the next level (see below for levels), now the stars of injured players were also included in this calculation making it easier to get star achievements if one or more players were injured in a game. This bug was fixed on the 1st of February 2008.

* Around the 19th of April 2008 part of the site was upgraded to .Net and the calculation of how common achievements are was altered but the calculation of the number of U20 and NT coaches was about 3/4 of a million too high. The numbers for how many was elected U20 and NT coach was altered a few days later after a bug report was made. [[User:marnow|GM-marnow]] gave this explanation for the change made on the achievement page of each club team on the 19th of April 2008:
: ''Previously the achievements counters were just increased when someone got the achievement. Currently they should reflect only statistics for currently active users. You may now see changes every week (numbers can both go up & down, previously they would only go up).''

* Near the end of 2008 following the introduction of the new design the Promoted Player to Hall of Fame achievement began working for the first time.

* In April 2009 numerous achievement bugs were fixed by HT-Stefan including: average match rating, the top 2 tiers of total team TSI, pulled a youth player (didn't work with the [[Youth#The Youth Academy|Youth Academy]]), sold a youth player, and also some text language issues (e.g. ''Team was ranked 1919'' changed to ''Team was ranked amongst the top 2000'').

== Achievement Bugs ==
On the 22nd of April 2009 HT-Stefan announced that he was working to debug all achievement issues. Most of the bugs are now fixed, but there are still issues that are being worked on. Some achievements such as [[Special Awards|0 expenses]], although working, are not achieveable by all teams. It also has been discovered that the achievement for winning your league is not bugged, but rather it never existed at all, despite being mentioned in the original editorial.

The following is a list of achievement bugs that have now been corrected:
* On the 16th of January 2008 Hattrick announces in a My Hattrick message that a long suspected bug which was probably introduced during the upgrade of several parts of the site on the 5th of November 2007 was now fixed.
: ''We have at last found the nasty bug which has stopped the achievement updates from working properly. In matches played after 2008-01-15 10.00 the achievements update should work as usual again. Unfortunately we can not do any retroactive update of older achievements (made while the updates were malfunctioning). Sadly enough, this means any achievement taken during this period will be forever lost.''

: Achievements affected by this bug were the [[Home-grown lineup]] and [[Academy lineup]]. Also the ''Team reached X stars in a match'' achievement did not function properly in this period.

* When this achievement bug fix was announced a new bug was introduced meaning that you would get star achievements not only if the stars of the 11 players (or less) who finish you game in total yields enough stars totally to reach the next level (see below for levels), now the stars of injured players were also included in this calculation making it easier to get star achievements if one or more players were injured in a game. This bug was fixed on the 1st of February 2008.

* Around the 19th of April 2008 part of the site was upgraded to .Net and the calculation of how common achievements are was altered but the calculation of the number of U20 and NT coaches was about 3/4 of a million too high. The numbers for how many was elected U20 and NT coach was altered a few days later after a bug report was made. [[User:marnow|GM-marnow]] gave this explanation for the change made on the achievement page of each club team on the 19th of April 2008:

Henrihs is not only a great goal scorer but also an uncompromising team player. His work rate and aggressive tackling has paid off in some games and he has rarely let down his own team. Most famous incident is match against FK Mayertown (04.02.2006) when Henrihs made a nasty tackle which caused injuries for the two highest skilled players off the opponent team, which had to leave the field. Henrihs only received a yellow card, but was later revenged by opponents and also had to leave the pitch.

The formula should be valid, when there are no docs. There is still healing then, so it shouldn't give a 0. If you have no docs, the healing rate would be Const., the natural healing rate (depending on the age of the player in question).

When having e.g. 2 docs the healing rate would be (2+1)^0.2155=3^0.2155=1.27 (times Const. of course). So it increases by 27%.

It is a power function, thats what the ^ stands for (Y+1 to the power of 0.2155).

A team may only have 10 of any one type of [[staff]]. However assistant coaches and [[goalkeeping coach]]es are treated as one type, so a team may only have a combined total of 10 coaches. Typically non-goalkeeping training teams employ 9 assistant coaches and 1 goalkeeping coach. It is believed that a goalkeeping coach helps to maintain the [[form]] of the keeper. Other people prefer a 8 to 2 split between coaches.

Some users claim it is possible to have 11 coaches without seeing any ill effects, but many users have lost training when trying this.

It is not always in a teams best interest to hire all the possible assistants. The effect of each additional assistant decreases fast. E.g. having 5 GK coaches instead of 10 will slow GK training all the way from solid to divine by 1 week only. This is approximately 2 years of real time!

Clubs in financial difficulty should always bear this in mind when trying to make savings.

In his most famous study he showed how sand dunes sometimes decide to pull back and concentrate on their own defence.

Mod-Karlthegreat: Update to 39->40

The '''off-season''' takes place for two weeks at the end of a Hattrick [[season]] with its 14 league [[match|matches]]. It is a special period since most people will have only one game a week (except if they play a [[qualifier]]), creating difficulties for the [[training]] regime because only half of the [[trainee]]s can train. Many users choose to temporarily change their training type to less regular ones that train more people, such as [[set pieces training]].
