Editing a Wiki page is very easy. Simply click on the "'''Edit this page'''" tab at the top (or the edit link on the right or bottom) of a Wiki page. Starting a new Wiki article is also easy. Simply type into your address page <nowiki>http://wiki.hattrick.org/</nowiki>''(whatever your topic is)'' and then follow the same instructions as for [[Help:Editing|editing]].

Type away, write a short [[Hattrick:Edit summary|edit summary]] on the small field below the edit-box. You may use shorthand to describe your changes, as described in the [[Hattrick:Edit summary legend|legend]], and when you've finished, press [[Hattrick:Show preview|preview]] to see how your changes will look. Then press "Save". Depending on your system, pressing "Enter" while the edit box is not active (when there is no typing cursor in it) may have the same effect as pressing the "Save" button. Also, please do not vandalise the information on {{ns:4}}.

You can also click on the "'''Discussion'''" tab (or the "'''Discuss this page'''" link) to see the corresponding [[Hattrick:Talk page|talk page]], which contains comments about the page from other Hattrick users. Click on the "'''+'''" tab (or "'''Edit this page'''") to add a comment.

==Creating Articles about Your Own Team==

Every user within the Wiki-environment has a personal webpage (just click on a user's name, for example yours). So this seems to be the perfect place for people to put the info about themselves. In addition all teams are allowed a page in the main namespace, with subpages for players etc.

An example for the user Footie with the team FC Football:
[[User:Footie]] -- this is the user page
[[FC Football]] -- this is the main team page. It could contain all data about the team
[[FC Football/Players]] -- this is for the players, if they are not listed on the main team page
[[FC Football/Martin Mateev]] -- A player the team owner considers are worthy of a page of his own.

Then again, if your player, for example, is indeed great and significant in Hattrick, then he deserves a normal and serious article. Here is an example: [[Bob Sunesson]].
