The Texas Consortium is the largest and 2nd oldest US regional federation. TexCon is open to all those who were born in, reside in, or love Texas. They are especially dedicated to developing and promoting a successful community of teams from the HT regions of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston and Texas.

The federation was founded on February 19, 2003 by Joshua Carkhuff, then manager of Number Munchers. The oldest known member of the federation was Group TNT who joined on February 20, 2003. The top federation office was claimed by the Texas Dragons (now Texas Nationals) in 2003, and passed to Los Guys in 2006.

As of June 2008 the Chief Executive Officer of the Consortium is Richard B Riddick, manager of the Necromongers.

Former Texas Consortium member cwemyss, manager of FC World Domination has founded the Texas Consortium Cup federation, he has done so as a direct result of his expulsion from the Texas Consortium. He was expelled for unacceptable racist comments, which he made against other TexCon members. Cwemyss is attempting to recruit TexCon members to his new federation, as his behaviour has resulted in him beng banned for life from the Texas Consortium.

Texas Consortium

The Texas Consortium is the largest and 2nd oldest [[USA|US]] regional federation. TexCon is open to all those who were born in, reside in, or love Texas. They are especially dedicated to developing and promoting a successful community of teams from the HT regions of [[Dallas/Ft. Worth]], [[Houston]] and [[Texas]].

The federation was founded on February 19, 2003 by Joshua Carkhuff, then manager of Number Munchers. The oldest known member of the federation was Group TNT who joined on February 20, 2003. The top federation office was claimed by the Texas Dragons (now Texas Nationals) in 2003, and passed to Los Guys in 2006. The current Chief Executive Officer is Richard B Riddick, manager of the Necromongers who has held the office since May 2008.

The TexCon Cup will be held for the 15th time in Season 36, and as has been traditional since Season 32, the winner will play in the US Champion's Cup series.

==Texas Consortium Cup==

The Texas Consortium Cup was first held in season 22 and has been held every season since then. With the exception of TexCon VI, which was held with the Mid-Atlantic Community of Hattrick Owners (MACHO), the cup has been open only to teams that are located in the HT-regions of DFW, Houston or Texas; or are members of TexCon. TexCon XIII was not held, instead TexCon combined with the Oklahoma region for the Red River Shootout.
