The help file for playerEvents states that "No list of events will be available. Each CHPP will have to collect an eventlist him-/herself."

To make everything a bit easier for everyone, add any new playerEventTypeID's you find to the list below, along with their meaning. If the meaning of the event isn't immediately clear from the <EventText> tag text, add a generalization.

==History==

België is one of the biggest countries in Hattrick. The first season, which was called season two (because there was an error in season one that caused the league to be created without any teams in it) started on the first of January 2002. This happened after [[Pelotas]], a user that formerly played in the [[USA]], had asked for a seperate league to be created for Belgium.

==Trophies==

Belgium won the first EuroCup tournament but was never able to win a medal on any official World Cup.

But much is expected of Belgium when they (finally) will get to host a World Cup Tournament, hopefully this will happen soon.

Good question. :)
In my opinion playmaking is an accurate term for the skill playmaking. Playmaking imho is not about "the decisive pass", it's about keeping the ball in your team in order to get a chance to score.
Passing on the other hand is not as accurate imo, as passing the ball to each other also is a part of playmaking in a way. Passing in Hattrick is, as you know, about the ability to pass "a decisive pass", making it more like assisting maybe. It could be a kind of a lame translation from Swedish from the beginning, but I don't know if there are any fantastic translation for the swedish word "framspel" (which more or less means the ability to pass a decisive pass).

Anyways, this doesn't really matter nowadays - cause as we all know: passing is the correct term for a decisive pass and nothing else, right? ;)

==What Team Spirit Affects==
[[Midfield]] ratings are affected by several factors. One of these factors is team spirit. The higher the team spirit, the better the midfield performs. And conversely, if team spirit is low, midfield ratings will lower. Team spirit also affects other parts of the field, although to a far lesser extent. A successful Hattrick manager will regulate his/her team spirit to get the best results for the team, as midfield is a very important factor in many matches.

In real life football the atmosphere around a team is of great influence on it's performance. If there is bad management or an incompetent coach this will have a negative effect on the way players feel and act on the pitch. In Hattrick this effect is represented by the Team Spirit.

The Team Spirit has a direct effect on the [[midfield ]] strength of a [[team]]. The actual midfield strength based on players abilities is increased or decreased according to the Team Spirit. The midfield strength of both teams determines the distribution of chances, so a high Team Spirit will boost your midfield and deliver you more [[regular chances]].

At the start of each [[season]] the Team Spirit is reset to a default level (composed). From then the actions of your club and your [[coach]] influence the rise and fall of the Team Spirit. Whatever you do Team Spirit is always trying to change back to composed. The [[leadership]] factor of your [[coach]] determines how fast it will change in that direction. A coach with high leadership will speed up the rate Team Spirit rises when below composed and slow down decrease in Team Spirit when above composed. The agreeability of the [[team leader]] also has an influence on the team spirit, a so called ''[[Clown]]'' has the highest possible influence. This influence is however only a small fraction of the influence of the [[coach]].

In all [[competitive match]]es you can tell your team to play it cool. This will reduce the [[midfield|midfield rating]] during the game, meaning the team will not perform as well as usual. Directly after the match, [[Team Spirit]] will increase, and the team will perform better in the next [[match]].

According to some studies made by different users, the increase in team spirit is at least 33%. Team spirit defaults to mid-composed (4.5) at the start of the season, and it increases to content (6.0) after Playing it Cool in the first competitive match.

The [[abbreviation]] PIC is commonly used to refer to Play it Cool.

Match of the Season (commonly called MOTS) is a tactical option that increases your team's [[Midfield|midfield rating]] in a particular [[Competitive matches|competitive match]], at the expense of a 50% decrease in [[Team Spirit]] after the match is finished. A common opinion is that the midfield rating is increased roughly by 15% when choosing MOTS.

While it is possible to use MOTS more than once per season - or even in every match - it is most often not recommended to do so, as Team Spirit directly relates to the midfield rating.
