== FUNDAÇÃO ==

A imprensa não tem registro. Os cartórios, muito menos, e nos arquivos do clube, nem se fala. Entretanto, sabe-se que o glorioso América Futebol Clube foi fundado no feriado de 19 de Novembro de 2008 – Dia comemorativo ao Dia Da Bandeira Nacional – na residência do Presidente Sharley Max De Araújo, Em Natal , Rio grande Do Norte , que posteriormente serviu de local para guardar o material do clube.

Consta que o Coronel Roberval Santos, no dia 10 de Novembro de 2008, destruiu a única bola que o clube tinha para treinar e jogar, e aí, o América foi obrigado a possuir personalidade jurídica para poder entrar com uma ação indenizatória. Para tanto, registrou os Estatutos pela primeira vez no dia 19 de Novembro de 2008, no Primeiro Ofício de Notas, em documento assinado pelo presidente Sharley Max De Araújo.

A diretoria provisória formada por Sharley Max De Araújo, presidente; Jackson Daivid B. De Araújo , vice-presidente; Helder C. Araújo, primeiro secretário; Anderson Soares; segundo secretário; Thiago Linhares, diretor de esportes; José Neto Araújo, tesoureiro e Rafael Cavalcanti, cobrador. Algumas decisões foram tomadas, como por exemplo: determinar que o clube teria o nome de América Futebol Clube, e que o traje seria Camisa Vermelha e o calção branco. A bandeira oficial seria Vermelha, tendo no centro um círculo branco e sobre este, as letras AFC, não sendo discutido o estatuto do clube.

Localizado Na Cidade De NATAL - RN , Brasil construido pelo Arquiteto HOK Sport custo 890 milhões de Reais Inaugurado em dezembro de 2008 o estádio tem Capacidade para 60.000 pessoas , Dimensões 105 x 68 m².

O Emirates Stadium é o terceiro maior estádio de futebol do Brasil, só perde para o MINEIRÃO e o MARACANÃ, Sendo a maior Do Nordeste. O EMIRATES STADIUM está localizado ao norte de Natal.
Foi inaugurado no Verão de 2008, no jogo da liga entre AMÉRICA e Goias com a Derrota Por 2 a 1 Para o Time Visitante.

Em uma capacidade de mais de 60.000 pessoas, O Estádio tem uma área de 105 x 68 metros e sua construção custou cerca de 890 milhões de Reais.O estádio foi projetado pela HOK Sport, que também projetou o Estádio da Luz em Lisboa eo novo Wembley Stadium. O seu nome deriva de um contrato por 15 anos com a Emirates Airlines.
