zy1125 is the manager of the Hattrick team RTP United, currently in USA/V.77 in the United States. He started playing the game on 07 February 2004 and was initially placed in V.119. After one league game, United lost their qualifier and were demoted to VI.875. Despite the failure to create a training program, United promoted the next season to V.77. Upon promotion, United became a defense trainer, which is the club's current training regimen.

Federations
zy1125 has been a Hattrick Supporter since 22 February 2005. This has been an invaluable resource for managing his team, and waiting as long as he did to purchase supporter was, quite frankly, a mistake. He is currently a member of the following Federations:

*U.S. Training Federation
*Defense Trainers
*Wing - Market & Discussion
*Youth Pull Cross Trainers

Other Interests
In real life, zy1125 is a Software Test Manager at a major software vendor. He is married and has one daughter. He and his wife are expecting their second child in February.
YPXT are devoted to help train each others' youth pulls without losing any training slots. This is accomplished by playing your youth pull in a friendly and ensuring that he sells after the match starts but before the training update. The purchasing player determines the result of the training and whether or not it is necessary to repeat the process the following week.

The theory is that a player with stronger skills is more likely to be properly trained.

__TOC__

Process
You play your youth pull in a position that you do not train. You sell the player to a trainer of that position after he has played but before the training update in the trainer's country. If the player 'pops', then he is sold on the open market to another team (or kept by the cross-training partner) for further training. This results in a small profit for the trainer (if candidates are properly identified) and future Mother Club money for the original team.

If he does not pop, the training club immediately lists the player after the training update, the mother club buys the player back - plays him again - then sells him back to the training manager in time for the next training update - "lather, rinse and repeat".

Key Elements
The three key elements for participating in this kind of activity are coordination, a complete disregard for your team spirit and a small nest-egg of cash.
# Coordination - Timing is everything. Using the Federation forum, it is necessary to secure a buyer and arrange a time for the sale. Different countries have different training schedules, and as this is the case timing the sale to happen after the mother club's friendly but before the training update can be tricky.
# Team Spirit - Much like the daytrading of old, the number of transfers involved when cross-training multiple players will negatively effect your team spirit. If the series you are in dictates that you need to ensure a high level of spirit to complete in the midfield, then this may not be the Federation for you
# Cash - It doesn't take a lot of money, but a team needs to be in the black before participating. Other managers using experience or tools like Psico-Tsi will be able to identify a player that is close to a level pop. In order to get the benefit of the pop, a supply of cash needs to be available.

Youth Pull Cross Trainers (YPXT)
(AllianceID: 26493)

YPXT are devoted to help train each others youth pulls without losing any training slots.

If the player 'pops', then he is sold on the open market to another team for further training.

The two key elements for participating in this kind of activity are a complete disregard for your team spirit and a small nest-egg of cash.
# Team Spirit - The number of transfers involved when cross-training multiple players will negatively effect your team spirit.
Defense Trainers Federation, (D_T) is a home for HT Supporters that, dreadfully, train defending. We can help you through all of your defense related training blunders, especially the hate that the engine has for us.

Founded on 12 February 2003, it is currently the largest Federation for those that train defense and boasts over 2000 members. User:Georgefc3 is the current President.

__TOC__
Suggested Prices
In an effort to help Federation members achieve top dollar for their trainees, the D_T Fed has researched the market to create suggestions to Federation members for a starting price for listing their players. While not manditory, Federation members are encouraged to list at least once at the market suggested price. Currently, suggested prices in Euros for our members:

*Formidable - 1 000k
*Outstanding - 1 500k
*Brilliant - 2 100k
*Magnificent - 2 700k
*World Class - 3 300k

At higher skill levels buyers expect at least Inadequate passing. There has been a sharp dip in prices for upper tier defenders. Players who have good secondaries or are trainable can sell for more.

D_T Cup
Each season the Federation organizes a D_T Cup for members.

Season 27
During Season 27 the D_T Cup is being organzied by User:PIE-Shmaarts. The cup started after the 5th game in the leagues - 18-20th of October.

Rules for Season 27's D_T Cup, as posted by the organizer:

# All teams must play with at least 4 defenders in each match. Failure to do so will result in a 2-0 loss unless the team achieved a worse result in the game. If a team plays with less than 10 outfielders, the missing players count as defenders.
# All teams agree to play all 10 rounds since no one is knocked out. That means no friendlies outside the cup for any team as long as the tourney lasts.
# The first 3 rounds are the group play. The match can be played as either normal or cup, but the result after 90 minutes is the only one who counts.
# The last 7 rounds are played as cup matches. If any match is played normal and ends in a draw, the home team lose the match and the away team will play the rest of the tournament away.
# There will be four teams in each group and 28 groups. After the group play the group winners will meet a 4th place finisher from another group and 2nd place finishers will meet a 3rd place finisher from another group. The 16 teams who were still in their national cups will meet each other. The winners of this fourth round will play cup matches for the places 1-64 the last 6 rounds and the losers will play for the places 65-128.
# Each group will be seeded with the results from last seasons cup as basis. That means all teams who played in the last cup will be seeded before those who didn't. Those who didn't play the last seasons cup will be seeded according to what division the play in, what place they have in the division at the time of seeding, how many divisions the country have, and flip of the coin in that order.
# All teams have to play at least 2 rounds in the group play (walk over wins count as game played) to avoid penalties. If only 1 game is played in the group play the team is automatically given last place in the group, but can continue to play. If a team doesn’t play any games in the group play, they are not allowed to continue. Any reserves taking the place of retired or kicked out teams “inherit” the results of the team they replace
# I will post each rounds matches in a new thread in the conference every Thursday or Friday as my time allows me. The standings will be posted in a separate thread.
# If a team for some reason are left without an opponent, I will post a walk over for that team in the setup of matches.
# The first team mentioned in the setup plays at home and must make a correct challenge as soon as possible. The second team is the away team and must check that the challenge is correct and accept as soon as possible. The away team may also make the challenge if they wish or their opponent delays.
# I will monitor the games and collect the results, so there is no need to post the results unless it's just to brag a little.
# Any team who doesn't get a response on their challenge within reasonable time, please HT-mail me.
# Any team who knows they won't be able to make a challenge quickly or respond quickly, HT mail me and let me know so I can inform your opponent. If you for instance are away for the weekend but, will accept/make a challenge Monday, let me know, or you might find a walk over against you
zy1125 is the manager of the Hattrick team RTP United, currently in V.77 in the United States.

Other Interests
In real life, zy1125 is a Software Test Manager at a major software vendor. He is married and has one daughter. He and his wife are expecting their second child in February.
While the Lambdas Federation may have been the 18,674th federation created, it is 1st in the hearts of its members. Open to all initiates and associate members of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, it was created by zy1125 so that members of the Zeta-Upsilon chapter from Miami University could get their own forum. They also let his brother-in-law join.

We offer:
* A fun environment to share knowledge and tactics.
* Endless amounts of smack-talk.
* The LambChop Cup
* A lot of complaining from the winger trainers of the group

LambChop Cup
The unrivalled LambChop Cup was organized during Season 24 because zy1118 was too lazy to arrange his own friendlies.

LambChop Cup I
The first LambChop Cup was won by Ryno's Reds, which must have been a fluke. That team is terrible.
LambChop Cup II
The second LambChop Cup was won by Gander's Geese. There is no chance that the link to that team page will ever be filled in, because he is way too technologically inept to ever create a team page on this thing.
LambChop Cup III
I can't remember who won this one - either Ryno's Reds or Shadowboxers. muadib1158 would know.
LambChop Cup IV
Currently underway.
Empires In Arms
Most of the members of the Federation are also playing the Game Empires In Arms. It is being organzied by Gander2004. The game is currently being dominated by Turkey, controlled by zy1125. His tactical mastery has no equal.

Season 26
Some team won the D_T Cup in Season 26, competing against a field of some unspecified number of teams. Someone in the Fed will know this information, hopefully, and edit this away.

Defense Trainers Federation, (D_T) is a home for HT Supporters that, dreadfully, train defending. We can help you through all of your defense related training blunders, especially the hate that the engine has for us.

It is currently the largest Federation for those that train defense and boasts over 2000 members.
