Good individuals don't make a team though, and the club has never succeeded to reach higher than a second place in the Swedish level 4. Season no 14 and 15, anyway, are remembered by the fans, when the club reached far in the national cup. Season 14 Burvik BK were beaten in the 7th round by that time's giants, Sunne IK. Founded 25th of March 1998 Burvik BK is one of the oldest teams in Hattrick, placed no 80 in the database statistics. It was initially ran by both Fredrik and Andreas Hofflander, but after Fredrik created his own team [[The Fredalph's IF]] Andreas took over as sole manager.

'''One of the best teams, on the paper'''

The club was once in the time, according to the team number of stars, one of the 100 best teams in Sweden (and at that time, the whole game). In season 15 Burvik BK, in the 6th round, succeeded to beat former super team Lappträsk FC on Hoffavallen, but lost the following game against IFK Livergården, a team that later was going to win the cup no less than 5 times.

'''The national team players'''

In 2004 the club manager Andreas was bored with game and decided to sell the whole team out. This collected about 50 million euro to the club. For the money he bought one midfielder (Lars Lundthorp) and one forward (Peter Martinsson), playing in the Swedish national team, and the existing goalkeeper (Olof Morgansson) of the Swedish U-20 national team. At this time the Swedish national teams were outstanding, and Burvik BK thus contributed with the most players to these dream teams. This stupid idea was of course very unpopular among the national team managers, and was quickly abandoned.

'''Modern times'''

The team fell into lethargy for many years, but is now restarting. The club are now in for it for real, and are aiming to reach the top. There is a lot of work to do, and it will take many seasons, but manager Andreas believes that all the experience from 13 years of playing might be a factor strong enough to make it.
