	There's a new MyHT on its way out now, topic is new training/scout comments for the Youth Acacemies. The changes/new events (which take effect immediately) are designed to make the YA easier to understand, funnier and less frustrating. These changes are very needed, especially with the latest thread in this forum about this in close mind.

	The Hattrick Football Association has just recently finished a communication course for all youth trainers and scouts in the academies. Scouts and trainers are now better educated to communicate, which means their hints will be easier to understand.

	For starters, scouts will always give at least two hints when evaluating a prospect. Moreover they will not use the prospect scale (doubtful, hopeless etc) anymore as it was more confusing than helpful.

	Trainers have learned a whole new terminology and are eager to use it. The training report will contain more hints, and more useful hints. Trainers will report less skill increases, instead they will focus on better information about the players' skills and potentials and how far away players are to reach their maximum potential.

	Easy to repair, will be fixed during the afternoon. And as I understood it, in the already processed training reports the [level] will be written out with the real level (passable etc) when this bug is sorted out.

			Any type of message could appear only once in training report.
			It should be random if several messgaes can be created (like several players have maxed out, gained skill, etc.). The order should be random as well (which means if you have two players that have maxed out you could get a messgae on any of them every week with no ability to predict the actual order - xx, yx, xy or yy should have the same probability for two training reports as a specific example).

			If you have evidance that its not like that you could present them here and I will try and check. There is a wish to improve the current mechanism but we need resources which were not available lately. It might be prioritize lower with the other tasks planned for the future but my guess it will happen eventually. Please be patient with it (I know its not good how it works now).

			Question is if there were other players that you know to reach their max potential in skills that were trained during the same week, and how many of them.

			If there are 2 players (including your keeper) its not that rare that you will get the same player reported several weeks in a row. It is reasonable to assume that only those users will feel annoyed and reply in the forum about that. Still, if it will look like there is a chance of a bug I will try and look into it (already did that with no sign of bug but will do it again).

			Why not. Maybe you will have something we did not think of.

			... but could you at least add the information in the rules? Just two sentences saying the same thing I quoted.

			What´s about players, who got no addition of stars over two month? Ist it possible, that the messages will stop after a defined period of time?
			I saw some and hear about many more of this cases.


			What I said is how it should work. If you got any strong case of something looking wierd you can post it here, but please add complete data so in case you miss something other users can help you understand without me needing to answer any reply. The more data (and a 100% verified data) is posted the higher the chance you will get an answer from other users or me.

	I don't believe stronger penalties is the solution, it's "possible" to get your team/account locked because of repeated spamming etc. Word filter is also something I don't believe in, there's really no way to filter out every bad word in all languages, and then I don't even mention the "misspelled" words...

	As I see it, the real problem isn't really bad language or inappropriate behaviour. It's just that a lot of ppl want a specific flag and kindly ask the (very few) users they can get the flag from. This way these few users get a looot of messages, and then it becomes a problem. So it's not easy to find a solution which will put an end to this problem as the biggest part of the problem is that most mails are friendly (and we can't really forbid friendly mails). But we are discussing this problem, maybe we can at least give these small country users an option to say no to messages like that (and if ppl still send mails etc, then GMs can do something about it).

	What are your views on the disparity between the effect of different coach types on the ratings? Are you planning to remove the extra benefit of the defensive coach since there are signs it is starting to get abused?

	I think the disparity makes sense. In the Hattrick history most teams have been built offensively, which is not that strange because fans tend to like that their team is scoring a lot of goals. I still think the general Hattrick team has got much stronger offense then defense, so the disparity in the coaches has a reason - to somehow benefit and promote defensive teams a bit.

	I got to admit however that I haven't seen any signs of this "getting abused", nor have I seen any discussion about it (but maybe I've missed it, I don't read every thread after all?). But please open up a thread for this and tell me your opinion (and back up with "facts" if possible) and we'll see if we need to change our view on things. Listening to your opinion is the least we could do.

	If we start with the top scorer money, that money is only meant to be symbolic because of nature of scoring (it's not really skill related as you know). So top scorer money will remain to be a symbolic sum, just for the fun of it.

	The seasonal awards are something else, which of course can (and from time to time should) be discussed in the (HT) team. It's of course also important to look at the global economy so you don't add too much money, such things have to be taken into consideration.
	Right now I think the seasonal awards are adequate, especially if you look on how much you get from each penny on the transfer market these days. But if we choose to increase any of the seasonal awards I think the promotion money should be my choice.

	In the past we agreeded that the best part of Hattrick had been the community, nowadays I am not sure we can say the same and probably I can guess that this has been caused by a such great explosion of the number of players.

	Absolutely not, and that's never ever been the case. If quantity would've been the most important thing for us we would have made the signup process a lot easier and we wouldn't bother to check them as we do today.

	I still think the community part of the game is the best part, at least that's true for me and it has always been that way. That said, it's of course true that the community has evolved together with the rest of the game. Some years ago the Hattrick community (or rather communities) were rather small. Small communities have their benefits, they're very intimate and you get the feeling that you "know" most of the people. The larger a community gets the less you feel you know the people, but on the other hand you get other benefits like a bigger source for new informtion and new knowledge. Today there is a lot of big and small communities within the Hattrick community, but the first one you'll see is often a big one (the national one). I think that's the major change in fact, that most ppl have to search for the smaller communities.

	Yada, yada, yada...back to the question. Quantity matters of course, but the quality of our product will always be more important. At the same time they're also combined, better quality means bigger quantity and bigger quantity makes it possible for us to improve the quality.
