			The club was formed by three young brothers from Linwood. Matthew Manderson, Derek Manderson and Jason "J.J" Manderson. J.J was already on a youth contact at another club but after a £667 transfer fee was agreed he joined his brothers at Linwood Texans for the clubs debut match.
