Bertí FC Season 61
This is probably the best season in Bertí FC's history in terms of results, as we have won a total of three trophies.
The main target was get the promotion to the upper division, after the failed attempt of the previous season, in which, despite being league champions of the Spanish VI.971 league, we lost the promotion game in overtime. This target was well accomplished this time around, as we have repeated league title, this time winning every game and get the direct promotion. Our Spanish forward Diego Sánchez Bueno struggled to get the top scorer trophy, but their 10 goals were not enough to get it.
In the Spanish Cup we reached the fifth round, where we lost against Chimain FC, a third division team, in the last three minutes of the match, in a victory theyselves described as unfair.
We have won the title in two tournaments. After fifteen years of not doing so, we have won the Cingles de Bertí Cup, the dean of the tournaments we organize, with a great win in the final match 4-1 against the Hungarians Newpalace United, after an unbelievable first half, finnished with 4-0. We also won, not without suffering, the Sugar Cup in our first participation, winning with a misleading 4-1 against Hot Sweat, from Spain, the final match in the last minutes of the overtime.
