China (中国, Zhōngguó in Chinese) is a Far East Asian country. It was the 32nd nation to join the Hattrick World.
The People's Republic of China (中华人民共和国, PRC) is the world's most populous country with over 1.4 billion people, and is the third largest country, covering approximately 9.6 million km2 (3 700 000 sq mi). It exercises jurisdiction over 22 provinces, 5 autonomous regions, 4 direct-controlled municipalities, and the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau. Beijing is the Capital.North China Plain emerged as one of the world's first civilizations. China has expanded, fractured, and re-unified numerous times, and was ruled by dynasties from the 21st century BC. Dynastic rule ended in 1912 and the subsequent Chinese Civil War resulted in Communist Party taking control in 1949.
History
- Chinese league was founded in May 2001. It is one of the 24 new nation added at the beginning of global season 13.
- Until 22 July 2002, Hong Kong was a region of China. Then it became a separate league in Hattrick, just like it is in the real world.
- Teams that have requested so, were moved from Hong Kong region to Hong Kong's new league.
- Simplified Chinese version of Hattrick was released in December of 2002. The Language Administrator of Simplified Chinese version was GM-Wrenwinand (of team Junwei). The translation enabled more and more Chinese-speaking users to join the game.
- The League grew at 4 000 active users and was extended to seven levels before the beginning of local season 21. China HT-Conference and Dreamingsky Forum became the two largest asian communities for users' communication and discussion.
- China was then brought back to six level before local season 30.
- In May of 2005, China became the host country of the World Cup VII.
