== Biography ==
Alves started his career in the original squad of [[Sport Lisboa e Amieira]] playing as a [[wingback]], and he was irreplaceable until he was transferred to [[Johannes Åpen Bar]] at the age of 34.

He started playing only [[friendlies]] then. Two seasons after, Alves tried to play in [[Israel|Israelian]] club [[bigori]] but he was shortly afterwards sold to [[Club Adolfo Rodríguez]] in a "[[day trading]]" transfer. In Club Adolfo Rodríguez, after one year without playing, Alves became the new coach for seven seasons, until he was replaced by [[Club Adolfo Rodríguez/Jorge Badajoz|Jorge Badajoz]].
