downtime radio is a small German HT radio station. It was founded by The_Web (formaly know as WEBmta). downtime broadcasts in two qualities - 128kbps for the high quality stream and an additional 40kbps one aiming at users with extremely low bandwidth.

History

• March 1st 2008 downtime radio was founded.
• November 22nd 2008 the downtime radio federation was foundet.
• September 4th 2010 first downtime radio meeting in Berlin (Kreuzberg)
