In the next future, are you going to do something to limit day, and skill trading? I will not rule out anyting for the future, but at the moment I think day- and skilltrading are on acceptable levels. Hence I see no need for any further limitation than what already exists. Further more one must always remember that all limitations for trading make the market work worse, which affects all teams in terms of lower prices and most likely also lower revenues. That doesn't mean we'll restrain from doing anything if we think it's necessary, but that's one thing you'll have to keep in mind too. | |||

What is the HT policy regarding skill and day trading? I know that in the past you practically tried to eliminate it but I heard recently some other voices. We have never really tried to eliminate trading, but we've made some restrictions in order to make trading less profitable. If you look at the total picture (the whole game that is) we want it to be possible to use different strategies, where trading is one of them. None of these strategies shouldn't be let to be too superior compared to the others though (which trading happened to be in the past and that's why we restricted it). On a general note all good strategies should alone allow you and your team to climb upwards, but to reach the very top and stay there you might need to use many different strategies. I can more or less guarantee that trading to some extent always will be a strategy to use in Hattrick, but how profitable it will be and what restrictions it will have/get is a completely different issue. As I think you're aware of there are users who still think the profit you can get from trading is too big, thus making trading too superior to other strategies. Other users' opinions are that many ppl trade, but few of them are succesful - so it's not that much of a problem. I think it's safe to say that trading will always be an issue worth discussing - a hot potato as we say in Sweden - and we will always follow the discussions as well as the general development of the trading trend. However, if I should phrase a short policy about this it should be: "Trading is ok as long as it's not too superior compared to other strategies." | |||
