Fired player

Firing a player is free of charge, but you can only fire one player in twelve hours real-time. This was introduced to stop teams losing all their players after malicious attacks.

It is worth noting that firing a player does not affect the Team Spirit, in contrast to selling a player.

Club board decided to sack him in late night meeting

When trying to access a fired player a message is shown. This message is based upon the player ID. The third digit (starting from the left) of the player ID is extracted and determines which message is shown. This table covers the currently available messages.

xx1xxxxxx	Player with ID 101 was last seen having a pint at the local pub. His glory days are clearly over.
xx2xxxxxx	Player with ID 102 was last seen at a shopping mall with his family. His glory days are clearly over.
xx3xxxxxx	Player with ID 103 was last seen trying to get the attention of a young blonde at a downtown club. His glory days are clearly over.
xx4xxxxxx	Player with ID 104 was last seen at the VIP section, looking somewhat bored. His glory days are clearly over.
xx5xxxxxx	Player with ID 105 was last seen drifting aimlessly among the practice fields of his former club. His glory days are clearly over.
xx6xxxxxx	Player with ID 106 was last seen quarreling with his wife at a greasy-spoon restaurant. His glory days are clearly over.
xx7xxxxxx	Player with ID 107 was last seen coaching his old junior school team. His glory days are clearly over.

Note: All players with a player ID lower than 100 are playing golf.

Fired coach

Coaches can be fired in the same way as players. Or, better say, once you hire a new coach, the old one becomes a normal player with the peculiarity he cannot go on transfer list. So the natural solution is to fire him!
