Slashers FC was the oldest club in the USA, until owner Slashers abandoned it in September 2004. Slashers FC was the first international team in Hattrick, starting during Season 11, just prior to the owners of Cyclones and Kansas City Wizards abandoning teams in Sweden to join the newly formed USA league.

The team were three-time Major League champions and also won the US Open Cup, though this win came at the cost of their league title that year, rendering them ineligible for The Double.
