Stamina
Stamina is one of the player's skills. Stamina maintains keeps the performance level stable and without drops during a match.
In addition to this main use, stamina is somewhat important to avoid some negative special event and it is very important when using the pressing tactics.
You can decide what percentage of your normal training to dedicate to stamina (minimum 5%), the amount needed to maintain a certain level of stamina depends on the age of the players. Stamina training efficiency will drop at higher intensity level, it´s better to train a little every week than a lot now and then.

Many managers consider anything below solid stamina as a waste of resources in a league or cup game, since it is absolutely vital for any players.
If a player does not have enough stamina, a serious drop in his performance will be noticed, particularly during the second half of matches. The total number of stars shows his average performance during the game, while the number of yellow stars shows his performance at the end of the game. So the more grey stars, the more performance is lost due to low stamina.

New Stamina System | 01/04/2014 |
Starting next season, we will launch a new stamina system that will be truly unique in online gaming. Rather than relying merely on in-game factors, we will extend the scope of stamina in Hattrick to depend also on the actual physical activities of the manager.
This will be achieved through a new wearable computing API, compatible with all standard fitness trackers. If you go to the gym or take a long walk, stamina points will be built up that will benefit the fitness of your team as well. If you are a committed couch potato you will of course still be able to compete, but it will be a bit harder - we figure this is fair given the extra time you get in front of the computer! The aim for this change is not only to move Hattrick closer to real life, increasing your engagement in the game - we also want to contribute to your health. Our target is for the combined Hattrick community to lose one million kilos in 2014. The fitness tracker you need can of course be found in our shop. Enjoy! |
No stamina reform! | 02/04/2014 |
In a shock decision, the Hattrick Player Union has decided to block the new stamina reform announced yesterday.
- "We came into virtual football for a reason. If you are going to impose physical activity on our managers, we feel that we may be the next in line! This cruel treatment is unsupportable, we like our managers just the way they are - love handles and all!" exclaims spokesperson Gustav Jonasson. The Hattrick Football association has agreed to kill the reform. Honorary chairman Bob Sunesson comments: - Let's just say it was a bit of a joke on our part. Just check the date. Hattrick will not join the biometric revolution. |
