I think Taiwan should be called Taiwan. The fact the HTs called it Chinese Taipei (for an explanation see HTs on Global/Chinese Taipei doesn't change the fact the Taiwanese community would like to have called it Taiwan, and that's what should be the relevant factor here. --larsw84

first rule of thumb is consistency. The article names of all "countries" are the "HT"-names. (see category:Countries). --Shyrlden 12:42, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
