I have just moved the article to this location, as it is the official term. I will add the acronym to the Abbreviations page, and perhaps we should make a redirection from HT-ML as well? --duno7 18:06, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
Actually I'm not sure HT-ML and conference code are the same thing. I know little about it, but AFAIK HT-ML is the code use on the conference servers and a conference code is a code in HT-ML. For instance AlltidHattrick offers an option to create conference code to copy/paste the league dreamteam in your post.

Yes, we are talking about the same thing. What you refer to as "conference code", i refer to as "text with HT-ML tags for formatting it nicely". The HT-ML is the language that allows to make text fancy, which i think is the main concept :) --duno7 20:12, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
