A team is the virtual football team one owns and manages in Hattrick. It consists of a number of virtual football players, usually between 20 and 30. The manager chooses a line-up with 11 of these players for each game.

Each team (or club) is managed by a human player who's responsible for hiring and firing players, staff and coaches, setting formations and tactics in matches, planning and implementing a long term training and economic strategy.

Teams not under human players' control are known as bot teams, or simply bots.

Seasonal Plan

Every team has many official obligations to fulfill during a season. The first week game consists of the first round of the cup. Cup games continue as long as you keep winning. After that, friendly matches can be played.

From week two and for the following 14 weekend games series is played against 7 opponents in a round-robin group.

The second last weekendis for promotion/relegation play-off games. This is are known as the qualifier matches week.
