Torben Heyde Petersen (Vildbjerg,  Danmark) is a Danish football player who actualy plays for the Irish team HETMAN SWORDS. He is a Midfielder.

Early career

Torben started to play football at very young age at Skjernazionale in Denmark. He made it to the first youth team in Season 38, en was promoted to the Senior team in Season 39. Torben Heyde Petersen however never played in the first squad.

Career at SVV Red Star Brussels

Heyde Petersen was sold to SVV Red Star Brussels for 2 500 € by the end of Season 39, and has been playing as a Midfielder in the first squad with that team since then. He played all 5 official matches that took place during his stay in Ghent, 3 as captain of his team. He scored 1 time. He soon progressed in his main skill, playmaking, so both team and player started to think about a possible transfer. He finally transferred to the Irish team HETMAN SWORDS for a transfer sum of 108 000€ on October 8th.


At HETMAN SWORDS, Torbe Heyde Petersen would become a key player on the midfield, playing most of the games in the season.

Personal Life

Petersen lived in a small appartment in Ghent when he played at RSB, and travelled once a month back to Denmark to see his parents. After his transfer to HETMAN SWORDS, he bought a small house in Southern Dublin.
