The Hattrick World Cup Candidate League Committee has chosen Italy as host for the next U-20 World Cup. Starting February 18, qualifications will be held, with 91 nations competing to challenge champions Romania for the title.

Tonight at 20.00 HT time it is time for the U20 World Cup semi-finals. The semi-finals should both be tight, exciting matches as 3 out of 4 teams didn't lose a match in the final group stage. USA will face Eesti in one of the semis, and two of Hattrick's biggest countries meet in the other one: España and Deutschland.

Final match in U20 World Cup

All is set for the final in the U20 World Cup. España faces Eesti at Sunday 20.00 HT-time. España dominated their semifinal against Deutschland and won 5-3. Eesti took a first half lead 2-0 against USA but the Americans had levelled the score with only 6 minutes to go. Only 2 minutes into extra time Aapo Elts however secured a place in the final for his native Eesti. Make sure to log on and follow the final live!

The Hattrick community sends its warmest congratulations to Eesti and their U20 manager muttaja for winning the U20 World Cup! Eesti beat España in the final with 4-2. The Estonians took an early 2-0 lead but with 14 minutes to go España scored and made it an open affair again. Eesti however replied with two rapid goals before the Spaniards could grab a final consolation goal. For España this was the second silver medal. Eesti had two bronze medals before and now they can also add a shining gold medal to the prize shelf.
