Eijkelkamp is the manager of Go Ahead Eagles Bornheim playing in V.65 in Deutschland. He became LA for the German language version on the 27th of April 2005 and German GM on the 30th of November 2007. Since February 2010 he worked as Global GM.

His nickname is a tribute to the dutch former real-life-footballplayer René Eijkelkamp, who played 1997-2000 for German club Schalke 04.
