West Coast Gangstaz are currently on of the oldest clubs in Scotland despite being one of the least decorated, formed in the early summer of 2002 (25/07/02) the club have survived through many eras of the game and have played against some of Scotlands best sides during their history.

Great clubs to have played the Gangstaz include but not limited too Bogglers Divided, Glasgow Athletic, [[Everodd]], [[Glen Cove Thistle]] and current dominant force in Scottish football Inches Athletic.

Fans of the club still revel in the pride of watching their side on a fantasy journey to the Scottish Cup final while playing in III.2, knocking out no fewer than 4 of the 8 Premier League sides that season. However there was no fairy-tale ending as the club lost the Scottish Cup Final 3-0. 

The club currently play in the lowest level of Hattrick Scotland in the series V.174 and are currently the champions, with a qualifier against morepies to see which series they will play in for season 25 (V.174 or IV.12).

The current logo was commisioned by the West Coast Gangstaz board to commemorate the West Coast Gangstaz fifth year as a [http://www.hattrick.org Hattrick] club and was designed by Canadian user Oshawa.
Oshawa is currently manager of Oshawa Ogre (107171) and an active member of the Hattrick Logo Federation (HaLoFe) which supplies free logos to hattrick teams.

The Gangstaz play their home games at the 77,700 capacity stadium 2Pac Memorial Ground.

American born Worthington has just completed his 11th season at the club having signed for £1.9 million just before the Week 7 games of Season 13. The centre back is described by fans and pundits alike as "A pleasant guy who is balanced and upright. 
Has outstanding experience and inadequate leadership abilities."

Worthington's experience is what seen him be handed the captain's armband a number of seasons ago, an honour he has taken seriously and looks to pass on advise to the clubs young trainees. Robby has a special ability for heading the ball and is normally on the end of Stoltzenberg's free-kicks and corners anytime he gets on the scoresheet.

Scoring an impressive 148 competitive goals in 151 competitive games, including 23 hattricks during his time at the 2Pac Memorial Ground (Stats correct upto and including Week 14 of Season 24). The German has secured himself as a firm fans favourite and the first name on the managers teamsheet whenever he is fit to play.

With lightning quick pace and leathal scoring ability he is able to create chances out of nothing, add to that his amazing set-piece skills which earned him the nickname "The Divine One" from the West Coast Gangstaz fans.

Playing under the name '''WEST COAST YOUNG THUGS''' the Under-19 squad of the Gangstaz has already produced a number of first team players including Louis Monzie and Ian Ryan, and with local hero and deadly finisher Elias Stoltzenberg on hand to offer hints and advice to the boys many are expecting the side to produce a few gems.

= History =
=== The Begining ===

Joining with two games left of season 4 the Gangstaz were relegated into a IV Series that was full of bots. The lack of competition nearly resulted in the team being removed as the manager had no real interest or reason to login. 

Two times hattrick officials had to e-mail the owner to inform him to log in or lose his side.

=== The III.7 Era ===

With a new lease of life for the game, having secured his first trainees (Two youth pulls and a Spanish signing) West Coast Gangstaz built up a rivalry with fellow III.7 side [[FingersInCider]]. It was this rivarly that inspired the Gangstaz management to concentrate on the footballing side of the organisation. Which resulted in the club securing their first series III title and earning a play off to reach series II (Which they lost 2-0)

=== The Big Re-Build Era ===

Having failed to reach Division II, the chairman sold on the entire squad (With the exception of 3 players) during Season 13 and brought in an excellent trainer and 10 young playmakers which were to become the Gangstaz most successful side.

Season 14 seen them clinch the IV.33 title in the first season of asking, while midfielder Zelaya won the first of his eleven U-20 call up's. Moving into III.2 the club continued to improve and in Season 17 finished second in the league, losing out on goal difference and making it to the final of the Scottish Cup.

Season 18 saw the club win III.2 with 13 of the 14 league matches resulting in wins for the Gangstaz.

=== The Clear Out ===

Having reached Division 2, the management took the suprise move of once again selling the entire squad, the club is currently falling down the division as it builds up its money ready for another great era.

All new players are advised NOT to make these mistakes....

=== No Training Programme ===

Probably the number one source of income in hattrick is training players to a high standard then selling them on, West Coast Gangstaz never had a training programme in place from Season 4 - Season 8.

Season 9, 10, 11 and 12 Seen the club only training three main players in the playmaking skill.

It was not until Season 13, almost 9 seasons of exsistance, that the management recruited 10 players to train in playmaking!

=== 5-5-0 Counter Attack ===

When using counter attack you can afford to lose the midfield battle so long as your defence and attack are better than your opponents.
However the Gangstaz manager fielded NO attackers and still counter-attacked in {{matchID|15032709}}.
Gangstaz where lucky to escape with a 1-1 draw due to a special event goal.
